A computer-implemented method of information presentation on multiple devices is provided. The method may include presenting a first barcode on a webpage. The first barcode may be encoded with first data based on a uniform resource locator of the webpage. The method may also include generating second data based on a user interaction with the webpage and altering a configuration of the webpage based on the user interaction without leaving the webpage. The method may also include generating a second barcode encoded with the first data and the second data. The method may further include presenting the second barcode on the webpage with the altered configuration.

What is claimed is: 1. One or more non-transitory computer-readable media configured to store instructions that when executed by one or more processing systems performs operations, the operations comprising: obtain, through a first device, a user interaction with a webpage that causes the first device to obtain information from a server and that alters a configuration of the webpage to present the information, the user interaction used by a client-side script to alter the configuration of the webpage without changing a resource name in a uniform resource locator of the webpage; in response to the alteration of the configuration of the webpage, automatically generate an image embedded with the resource name and data, the data generated based on the user interaction with the webpage that resulted in obtaining the information; present, by the first device, the image on the webpage with the altered configuration; obtain, at a second device using the resource name and the data from the image, the information presented by the altered configuration of the webpage; and present, by the second device, the information. 2. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 1 , wherein the image is two dimensional machine-readable optical label. 3. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 1 , wherein the information is obtained and presented by a non-web browser application on the second device. 4. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 1 , wherein the information is obtained and presented by a web browser application on the second device. 5. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 1 , wherein the image is a first image and wherein the operations further include: before the user interaction with the webpage is obtained: generate a second image embedded with the resource name of the webpage; and present, by the first device, the second image on the webpage. 6. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 1 , wherein the first device is a desktop computer and the second device is a smartphone. 7. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 1 , wherein the client-side script is JavaScript running on the first device and provided by a system that hosts the webpage. 8. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 1 , wherein the first device obtains code for presenting the webpage from a system using the resource name and the second device obtains the information from the system using the resource name from the image. 9. One or more non-transitory computer-readable media configured to store instructions that when executed by one or more processing systems performs operations, the operations comprising: generate first data based on a uniform resource locator of a webpage; generate second data based on a user interaction with the webpage; alter a configuration of the webpage based on the user interaction, the user interaction used by a client-side script to alter the configuration of the webpage without changing a resource name of the webpage in the uniform resource locator; in response to the alteration of the configuration of the webpage, automatically generate an image embedded with the first data and the second data; and present the image on the webpage with the altered configuration. 10. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 9 , further comprising in response to obtaining the first data and the second data from the image at a device, present, by the device, information presented by the altered configuration of the webpage without the user interaction with the device. 11. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 10 , wherein the device is a first device and the other operations are performed by a second device. 12. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 10 , wherein the information is the altered configuration of the webpage in a web browser application. 13. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 10 , wherein the image is a first image and the operations further comprise: before the user interaction with the webpage, present a second image embedded with the first data on the webpage. 14. The one or more non-transitory computer-readable media of claim 9 , wherein the image is a two dimensional machine-readable optical label. 15. A computer implemented method of information presentation on multiple devices, the method comprising: generating first data based on a uniform resource locator of a webpage generating second data based on a user interaction with the webpage; altering a configuration of the webpage based on the user interaction, the user interaction used by a client-side script to alter the configuration of the webpage without changing a resource name of the webpage in the uniform resource locator; in response to the alteration of the configuration of the webpage, automatically generate an image embedded with the first data and the second data; and presenting the image on the webpage with the altered configuration. 16. The method of claim 15 , further comprising: obtaining, at a device, the first data and the second data from the image; requesting information presented by the altered configuration of the webpage based on the first data and the second data; and presenting, by the device, the information without the user interaction with the device. 17. The computer implemented method of claim 16 , wherein the device is a first device and the other acts of generating first data, generating second data, altering a configuration, generating an image, and presenting the image are performed by a second device. 18. The computer implemented method of claim 16 , wherein the information is presented by a non-web browser application of the device. 19. The computer implemented method of claim 15 , wherein the image is a first image and the method further comprises: before the user interaction with the webpage, presenting a second image embedded with the first data on the webpage. 20. The computer implemented method of claim 15 , wherein the image is a two dimensional machine-readable optical label.
