Official abstract text for this publication.
One exemplary embodiment can be a process for treating a hydroprocessing fraction. The process can include obtaining a bottom stream from a fractionation zone, and passing at least a portion of the bottom stream to a film generating evaporator zone for separating a first stream containing less heavy polynuclear aromatic compounds than a second stream.
Opening claim text (preview).
The invention claimed is: 1. An apparatus for hydroprocessing, comprising: A) a hydroprocessing zone; B) a fractionation zone communicating with the hydroprocessing zone for receiving a hydroprocessed fraction; C) a first stripping zone communicating with the fractionation zone for receiving a bottom stream; D) a second stripping zone communicating with the first stripping zone for receiving at least a portion of a stripped stream from the first stripping zone; and E) an overhead stream obtained from the second stripping zone providing a stripping stream to the first stripping zone. 2. The apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising an adsorption zone communicating with the first stripping zone for receiving another portion of the stripped stream. 3. The apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the adsorption zone comprises an activated carbon.
