We claim: 1. A protein comprising an Fc variant comprising at least amino acid modifications G236N and S267E as compared to a human parent Fc polypeptide, wherein numbering is according to the EU index according to Kabat. 2. A pharmaceutical composition comprising protein according to claim 1 , and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 3. A protein comprising an Fc variant comprising at least amino acid modifications G236N and S267E as compared to a human parent Fc polypeptide, wherein numbering is according to the EU index according to Kabat, wherein said protein has increased binding affinity to FcγRIIb as compared to the human parent Fc polypeptide.
