Drive device for a wind mill comprising a large pulley disposed on a main shaft and at least one belt or chain adapted to transfer rotation from the pulley to a generator. The pulley is rotationally coupled to at least two secondary shafts, which are disposed parallel to the main shaft. One or more belts, which transfer the rotation, extend over the pulley and the secondary shafts. The secondary shafts are in turn rotationally coupled to at least one, preferably two, electric generators.

What is claimed is: 1. A wind turbine, comprising: a hub rotatably mounted to the wind turbine and including one or more rotor blades; a rotatable shaft operatively coupled to at least one electrical generator and configured to transfer rotational movement of the hub to the at least one electrical generator; and a drive device configured to transfer rotational movements of the hub to rotational movements of the rotatable shaft, the drive device comprising: a large primary disc; at least two secondary shafts disposed about the large primary disc and arranged substantially parallel to the rotatable shaft, wherein each of the at least two secondary shafts is operatively coupled to the rotatable shaft such that rotation of the at least two secondary shafts causes a rotation of the rotatable shaft; and at least one first looped drive element operatively coupled to the large primary disc and the at least two secondary shafts such that rotation of the hub causes a rotation of the at least two secondary shafts, wherein the at least one electrical generator is located equidistant between the at least two secondary shafts. 2. The wind turbine according to claim 1 , wherein the drive device includes three secondary shafts disposed about the large primary disc. 3. The wind turbine according to claim 1 , wherein the at least two secondary shafts are arranged about the large primary disc at a same angular distance in relation to each other. 4. The wind turbine according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one first looped drive element extends continuously around the large primary disc and the at least two secondary shafts. 5. The wind turbine according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one first looped drive element comprises at least one looped belt or at least one looped chain. 6. The wind turbine according to claim 1 , wherein the angular position of the at least two secondary shafts is fixed relative to the large primary disc. 7. The wind turbine according to claim 1 , wherein each of the at least two secondary shafts includes a secondary disc operatively coupled thereto, the drive device further comprising a second looped drive element operatively coupled to each of the secondary discs and the rotatable shaft such that rotation of the secondary discs causes a rotation of the rotatable shaft. 8. The wind turbine according to claim 7 , wherein the second looped drive element comprises a looped belt or a looped chain. 9. The wind turbine according to claim 1 , wherein the at least one electrical generator includes a single electrical generator. 10. A drive device for a wind turbine, the wind turbine including a hub rotatably mounted to the wind turbine and having one or more rotor blades, at least one electrical generator, and a rotatable shaft operatively coupled to the at least one electrical generator and configured to transfer rotational movement of the hub to the at least one electrical generator, the drive device comprising: a large primary disc; at least two secondary shafts disposed about the large primary disc and arranged substantially parallel to the rotatable shaft, wherein each of the at least two secondary shafts is operatively coupled to the rotatable shaft such that rotation of the at least two secondary shafts causes a rotation of the rotatable shaft; and at least one first looped drive element operatively coupled to the large primary disc and the at least two secondary shafts such that rotation of the hub causes a rotation of the at least two secondary shafts, wherein the at least one electrical generator is located equidistant between the at least two secondary shafts. 11. The drive device according to claim 10 , wherein the drive device includes three secondary shafts disposed about the large primary disc. 12. The drive device according to claim 10 , wherein the at least two secondary shafts are arranged about the large primary disc at a same angular distance in relation to each other. 13. The drive device according to claim 10 , wherein the at least one first looped drive element extends continuously around the large primary disc and the at least two secondary shafts. 14. The drive device according to claim 10 , wherein the at least one first looped drive element comprises at least one looped belt or at least one looped chain. 15. The drive device according to claim 10 , wherein the angular position of the at least two secondary shafts is fixed relative to the large primary disc. 16. The drive device according to claim 10 , wherein each of the at least two secondary shafts includes a secondary disc operatively coupled thereto, the drive device further comprising a second looped drive element operatively coupled to each of the secondary discs and the rotatable shaft such that rotation of the secondary discs causes a rotation of the rotatable shaft. 17. The drive device according to claim 16 , wherein the second looped drive element comprises a looped belt or a looped chain. 18. The drive device according to claim 10 , wherein the at least one electrical generator includes a single electrical generator.
