A device for monitoring athletic performance of a user has a wristband configured to be worn by the user. The electronic module may include a controller and a screen and a plurality of user inputs operably associated with the controller. The user inputs may include a user input configured to be applied by the user against the screen and in a direction generally normal to the screen. The controller may further be configured to generate one or more user interfaces in response to various user inputs and conditions. For example, the controller may generate workout mode interfaces and non-workout mode interfaces including various goal information, workout data, reminders and the like. In one or more arrangements, multiple types of information may be displayed simultaneously.

What is claimed is: 1. A device comprising: a sensor configured to detect movement of a user; a communication connector; a processor; and a non-transitory computer-readable memory storing computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to at least: establish a connection between the device and a server through the communication connector; detect a version of an ephemeris of location determination satellite data stored on the server; detect a location of the server; upon detecting that the server is located within a range of the device and that the version of an ephemeris of location determination satellite data stored on the server is more updated than an ephemeris stored on the device, initiate an ephemeris acquisition process in which the ephemeris of location determination satellite data stored on the server is acquired and stored on the device; and using the acquired ephemeris to detect a location of the user using the sensor. 2. The device of claim 1 , wherein the communication connector comprises a USB connector. 3. The device of claim 2 , wherein the server comprises a computing device co-located with the device. 4. The device of claim 1 , wherein the communication connector comprises a wireless network connector. 5. The device of claim 4 , wherein the location of the server is detected based on a signal strength of a wireless connection between the device and the server using the wireless network connector. 6. The device of claim 4 , wherein the location of the server is detected based on cellular triangulation of the device. 7. The device of claim 4 , wherein the location of the server is detected based on Wi-Fi triangulation of the device. 8. The device of claim 1 , wherein the sensor is a GPS sensor. 9. The device of claim 1 , wherein the device is configured to worn by the user. 10. The device of claim 9 , wherein the device comprises a watch. 11. The device of claim 1 , wherein the device is further caused to: detect a subsequent connection of the device to another computing device; receive a reset instruction from the other computing device; and in response to the reset instruction, perform a reset process while maintaining the acquired ephemeris. 12. The device of claim 1 , wherein the non-transitory computer-readable memory further comprises computer-readable instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to at least: determine an expiration time of the acquired ephemeris; and in response to determining that the expiration time has been reached, acquire an updated ephemeris. 13. The device of claim 12 , wherein the updated ephemeris is acquired using the communication connector. 14. A non-transitory computer readable medium storing computer readable instructions that, when executed by a processor of an apparatus, cause the processor to: detect a connection of the apparatus to a power source; upon detecting the connection of the apparatus to the power source, initiate an ephemeris acquisition process in which an ephemeris of location determination satellites is acquired; using the acquired ephemeris to detect a location of a user using a sensor for detecting movement of a user; detect a subsequent connection of the apparatus to another computing device; receive a reset instruction from the other computing device; and in response to the reset instruction, perform a reset process while maintaining the acquired ephemeris. 15. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the computer readable instructions, when executed, further cause the processor to: determine an expiration time of the acquired ephemeris; and in response to determining that the expiration time has been reached, acquire an updated ephemeris. 16. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the sensor for detecting movement of the user is a location determination sensor configured to receive signals from one or more satellites. 17. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the connection to the power source includes a connection to another computing device, and wherein the ephemeris is generated by the other computing device. 18. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the ephemeris is generated based on satellite location information received from a plurality of athletic performance monitoring devices having a location aware sensor. 19. The non-transitory computer readable medium of claim 14 , wherein the apparatus is configured to be worn by the user and includes a connector for the connection to the power source.
