What is claimed is: 1. An expression vector comprising an isolated polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide having at least 90% sequence identity to SEQ ID No. 443 and a nucleotide sequence heterologous to the polynucleotide. 2. The expression vector of claim 1 , wherein the expression vector comprises an isolated polynucleotide having at least 95% identity to SEQ ID No. 444. 3. The expression vector of claim 1 , wherein the encoded polypeptide has 3-hydroxybutyryl-CoA dehydratase enzymatic activity. 4. A method of modulating or altering metabolism in a cell, the method comprising: providing the expression vector of claim 3 to the cell and expressing the encoded polypeptide in the cell. 5. The method according to claim 4 , further comprising glycosylating, or otherwise post-translationally modifying the encoded peptide in the cell. 6. An expression vector comprising an isolated polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide having at least 95% sequence identity to SEQ ID No. 443 and a nucleotide sequence heterologous to the polynucleotide. 7. The expression vector of claim 6 , wherein the encoded polypeptide has 3-hydroxybutvrvl-CoA dehydratase enzymatic activity. 8. The expression vector of claim 6 , wherein the expression vector comprises an isolated polynucleotide having at least 95% identity to SEQ ID No. 444.
