What is claimed is: 1. A cell comprising: a cell element including a positive electrode, a negative electrode, an electrolyte; and a laminate film enclosing the cell element, the laminate film having a sealing portion and an edge portion, the sealing portion being inward of the edge portion, wherein the laminate film comprises an interior layer, a metal layer, and an exterior layer; an electrode terminal; and a sealant between the electrode terminal and the laminate film, wherein, the positive electrode and the negative electrode are respectively connected to a positive electrode terminal and a negative electrode terminal, the positive and negative electrode terminals extending through the sealing portion and beyond an edge of the edge portion such that portions of the positive and negative electrode terminals are exposed beyond the edge with respect to the laminate film, a thickness t 1 of the laminate film at the sealing portion is thinner than a thickness t 2 of the laminate film at the edge portion, the edge portion being between the sealing portion and the exposed portions of the positive and negative electrode terminals, the sealing portion is welded, and the edge of the laminate film is not welded, wherein letting t and p represent a thickness of the laminate film and a thickness of the interior layer, respectively, the cell is configured such that a relationship in which t×2−p×2+5<t 1 <t×2−5 is satisfied, and wherein letting t 4 represent a thickness of the laminate film, the electrode terminal, and the sealant in the sealing portion, letting L represent a thickness of the electrode terminal, and letting S represent a thickness of the sealant, the cell is configured such that a relationship in which t×2−p×2+5+(L+S)<t 4 <t×2−5+(L+S) is satisfied. 2. The cell according to claim 1 , wherein, letting t represent a thickness of the laminate film, the cell is configured such that a relationship in which t 1 <t×2<t 2 is satisfied. 3. The cell of claim 1 , wherein a thickness of the interior layer in the sealing portion is thinner than a thickness of the interior layer in the edge portion. 4. The cell of claim 1 , wherein: the exterior layer includes nylon or poly(ethylene terephthalate); the interior layer includes a polyolefin resin; and the metal layer includes an aluminum foil. 5. The cell of claim 1 , wherein the thickness of the interior layer is from and including 20 micrometers to 40 micrometers. 6. The cell of claim 1 , wherein the laminate comprises (a) a first adhesive layer between the exterior layer and the metal layer, and (b) a second adhesive layer between the metal layer and the interior layer. 7. The cell according to claim 1 , wherein the sealing portion is spaced apart from the edge portion.
