A composition according to claim 2 comprising a compound of formula wherein the ratio of the compound of formula (I) to its enantiomer is greater than 1.5:1, greater than 2.5:1, greater than 4:1, greater than 9:1, or greater than 20:1. 12. The composition according to claim 2 , wherein the ratio of the compound of formula (I) to its enantiomer is greater than 9:1. 13. A method of controlling pests in soil, the method comprising: applying to the soil a composition according to claim 12 . 14. The method of claim 13 , wherein the application to the soil is through a solid carrier treated with the composition. 15. The method of claim 14 , wherein the solid carrier is a seed. 16. The method of claim 13 , wherein the pest is a nematode. 17. The composition of claim 2 , wherein the ratio of the compound of formula (I) to its enantiomer is greater than 20:1.
