Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

Several credit score management user interfaces that may comprise a credit score thresholds user interface, a credit score alert settings user interface, and several credit score alert notification user interfaces, enable a consumer to set and/or adjust credit score goals and warnings, and credit score alert settings. The credit score threshold visual interface may present one or more credit score thresholds (for credit score goals and/or warnings) for the consumer on a line graph. The consumer may set and/or adjust the credit score thresholds based on touch input. The user interfaces may be updated automatically in real-time in response to the touch input. Alerts may be generated and provided to the consumer based on alert settings, changes to the consumer's credit information, the credit score thresholds, and/or macroeconomic events or factors.

What is claimed is: 1. A non-transitory computer-readable medium comprising instructions configured to cause one or more computer processors to perform operations comprising: receiving credit score user interface data, wherein the credit score user interface data comprises at least a consumer's credit score based at each of a current time and a plurality of previous times based on application of a credit score algorithm to the consumer's credit data at the respective times, and a credit score threshold; generating a user interface configured for display on a touch sensitive computing device, the user interface including: a credit score line graph presenting the consumer's credit score for the current time and one or more of the previous times; and a user-adjustable threshold line indicating the credit score threshold as a straight line across the current time and the one or more previous times, wherein the user interface is configured to update the user-adjustable threshold line in response to a dragged touch input on the user-adjustable threshold line; receiving, by the user interface, an indication that the dragged touch input on the user-adjustable threshold line has begun; in response to receiving the indication that the dragged touch input on the user-adjustable threshold line has begun: receiving, by the user interface, data input corresponding to the dragged touch input during the duration of the dragged touch input, wherein the data input includes a position of the user-adjustable threshold line, the position corresponding to the position of the dragged touch input on the user-adjustable threshold line; determining, for the positions of the user-adjustable threshold line during the dragged touch input, a credit score range of a plurality of credit score ranges that is currently associated with the respective position of the user-adjustable threshold line, wherein each of the credit score ranges is associated with a different visual display characteristic; updating, dynamically for the positions, the user-adjustable threshold line on the user interface based on the visual display characteristic associated with the respective determined credit score range of the received data input; and receiving, by the user interface, an indication that the dragged touch input on the user-adjustable threshold line has ended; automatically updating the credit score threshold for the consumer in a credit monitoring database; monitoring the consumer's credit score for a change beyond the updated credit score threshold; and in response to determining that the consumer's credit score moved beyond the updated credit score threshold, transmitting to the touch sensitive computing device of the consumer a notification of the change in the consumer's credit score, the notification configured to activate an application on the touch sensitive computing device to cause display of information regarding the credit score change and enable connection to the credit monitoring database over the Internet. 2. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein updating the user-adjustable threshold line on the user interface for a particular position corresponding to the dragged touch input further comprises: updating display of the user-adjustable threshold line to the particular position; and causing the respective visual display characteristic to display a credit score threshold number relative to the particular position. 3. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein updating the user-adjustable threshold line on the user interface for a particular position corresponding to the dragged touch input further comprises: causing the respective visual display characteristic to display a color corresponding to a credit score range associated with the particular position. 4. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the credit score threshold is a credit score goal for the consumer or a credit score warning level for the consumer. 5. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein a second user-adjustable threshold line corresponding to a received second credit score threshold is included in the user interface, and wherein the user interface is configured to update the second user-adjustable threshold line in response to a dragged touch input on the second user-adjustable threshold line. 6. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the operations further comprise sending the updated credit score threshold to a credit report system. 7. The non-transitory computer-readable medium of claim 1 , wherein the instructions comprise a computer application for a mobile device. 8. A computing device comprising: a data store configured to store a consumer's credit report and credit score threshold information; a touch screen display configured to receive touch screen input; one or more processors; and a user interface module executable on the one or more processors, configured to at least: access credit information specific to a consumer, the credit information comprising at least a portion of the consumer's credit report and credit score threshold information; store the credit information in the data store; generate a user interface configured for display on the touch screen display the user interface including a credit score line graph presenting the consumer's credit score and the credit score threshold, wherein the credit score threshold is displayed as a user-adjustable threshold line on the credit score line graph, wherein the user interface is configured to update the credit score line graph in response to a dragged touch input on the user-adjustable threshold line; receive an indication that the dragged touch input on the user-adjustable threshold line has begun; in response to receiving the indication that the dragged touch input on the user-adjustable threshold line has begun: receive data input corresponding to the dragged touch input during the duration of the dragged touch input, wherein the data input includes a position of the user-adjustable threshold line, the position corresponding to the position of the dragged touch input on the credit score line graph; update the credit score line graph on the user interface based on the received data input, the user-adjustable threshold line being adjusted in color according to the received data input; and receive an indication that the dragged touch input on the user-adjustable threshold line has ended; automatically update the credit score threshold for the consumer based on a final position of the credit score threshold, wherein the final position corresponds to the position of the data input corresponding to the last received dragged touch input, wherein the consumer's credit is monitored for a change beyond the updated credit score threshold; and receiving a notification of the change in the consumer's credit score in response to the consumer's credit score moving beyond the updated credit score threshold, the notification configured to activate an application on the computing device to cause display of information regarding the credit score change and enable connection to a credit monitoring database over the internet. 9. The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the computing device is a wireless mobile computing device. 10. The computing device of claim 8 , wherein the computing device is a web server. 11. The computing device of claim 10 , wherein receiving credit information specific to the consumer comprises receiving asynchronous user interface updates from a web server comprising credit information specific to the consumer.
