Tube end connector which connects a first tubular member and a second tubular member while securing sealing performance is provided. The tube end connector according to the present invention is provided with a heat-shrinkable Teflon® tube 4 b which covers both outer surface of an end portion of a zeolite membrane covered ceramic tube 1 and outer surface of an end portion of a metal tube 5 in conditions of jointing the end portion of the zeolite membrane covered ceramic tube 1 and the end portion of the metal tube 5 ; and a heat-shrinkable fluororubber tube 3 b which is placed at the region between the heat-shrinkable tube 4 b and the outer surfaces both of the first tubular member and the second tubular member, and which has solvent resistance and swelling property.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method to connect an end portion of a tubular zeolite separation membrane which comprises: covering both an outer surface of an end portion of a first tubular member and an outer surface of an end portion of a second tubular member with a third member to connect the end portion of the first tubular member and the end portion of the second tubular member, and covering the third member with a covering member, wherein the first tubular member is a zeolite separation membrane in which zeolite crystals are formed on a tubular porous ceramic support, wherein the third member has solvent resistance and swelling property to solvent, and wherein the covering member compromises a thermally shrinkable tube. 2. The method to connect an end portion of a tubular zeolite separation membrane according to claim 1 , which comprises shrinking the third member by heat after covering both the outer surface of the end portion of the first tubular member and the outer surface of the end portion of the second tubular member with the third member. 3. The method to connect an end portion of a tubular zeolite separation membrane according to claim 1 , which comprises shrinking the covering member by heat after covering the third member with the covering member. 4. The method to connect an end portion of a tubular zeolite separation membrane according to claim 1 , wherein the second tubular member is a metallic tube. 5. The method to connect an end portion of a tubular zeolite separation membrane according to claim 1 , wherein a volume increment ratio due to swelling of the third member is not less than 2% and not more than 15%. 6. The method to connect an end portion of a tubular zeolite separation membrane according to claim 1 , wherein the third member shows thermal resistivity in a temperature range of 50-200° C. 7. The method to connect an end portion of a tubular zeolite separation membrane according to claim 1 , wherein the third member comprises a heat-shrinkable fluororubber tube or a heat-shrinkable flexible fluorine resin tube. 8. The method to connect an end portion of a tubular zeolite separation membrane according to claim 1 , wherein the covering member is capable of contracting toward the center of the covering member. 9. The method to connect an end portion of a tubular zeolite separation membrane according to claim 1 , wherein the thermally shrinkable tube is made of fluorine resin.
