The purpose of the present invention is to provide a cushioning material structure, for a vehicle seat, that makes it possible to reduce the weight of the vehicle seat while maintaining stable riding performance. A cushioning material supported by the top surface of a bottom plate provided on a vehicle body is provided with voids. This allows weight reduction without reducing the thickness of the cushioning material as in conventional cushioning-material structures, thereby making it possible to reduce the weight of the vehicle seat while maintaining stable riding performance.

The invention claimed is: 1. A cushion material structure of a vehicle seat, comprising: a cushion material having a plurality of space sections each formed at a back side of the cushion material, wherein: the cushion material is supported by an upper surface of a bottom plate which is provided on a vehicle body, wherein each space section is a concave section opened toward the bottom plate, the concave sections are arranged along a width-wise center of the cushion material in a front-to-back direction of the cushion material, a plurality of mounting sections which are to be fixed to the vehicle body are arranged along an inner periphery at a back side of the bottom plate with spaces therebetween, a plurality of other concave sections are formed in the cushion material between parts corresponding to positions of the plurality of mounting sections and the plurality of concave sections arranged along the width-wide center of the cushion material, the bottom plate includes a plurality of reinforcement sections which bulge at a back side of the bottom plate and which are recessed at an upper side of the bottom plate, the bottom plate includes an intersection where the plurality of reinforcement sections intersect with each other, and the concave sections are arranged so as to be opposed to the reinforcement sections in the intersection. 2. The cushion material structure of the vehicle seat according to claim 1 , wherein a length of a part in an under surface of the cushion material corresponding to a straight line connecting centers of concave sections which are adjacent to each other in a left-to-right direction of the vehicle seat and a width of the reinforcement section are equal. 3. The cushion material structure of the vehicle seat according to claim 1 , wherein the concave sections and the plurality of other concave sections are arranged in a grid pattern. 4. The cushion material structure of the vehicle seat according to claim 1 , wherein the cushion material further includes a pair of expected ischium sections as regions in the cushion material expected to correspond to an ischium position of a passenger, and the concave sections and the plurality of other concave sections are arranged avoiding the pair of expected ischium sections. 5. The cushion material structure of the vehicle seat according to claim 4 , wherein a reference surface is arranged so as to vertically face the reinforcement sections. 6. The cushion material structure of the vehicle seat according to claim 4 , wherein a reference surface side periphery of an other concave section arranged between the expected ischium sections which form the pair is supported by the bottom plate. 7. The cushion material structure of the vehicle seat according to claim 5 , wherein among the concave sections and the plurality of other concave sections, one concave section and another concave section which is different from the one concave section are in communication with each other through at least one of the reinforcement sections formed at the upper side of the bottom plate so as to be recessed. 8. The cushion material structure of the vehicle seat according to claim 1 , wherein each of the concave sections has a dome shape in which a diameter becomes smaller approaching an upper side of the dome shape from the bottom plate, and an upper most part of the dome shape is a curved surface.
