What is claimed is: 1. A wearable appliance comprising: a processor; an accelerometer in communication with the processor to capture movement data; a microphone in communication with the processor to receive audio input; a speaker in communication with the processor to output audio; a heart rate sensor in communication with the processor to capture heart rate data; a transceiver in communication with the processor to transmit and receive data via a wireless network, the transceiver further in communication with a plurality of wireless nodes forming a mesh network, wherein at least one of the plurality of wireless network nodes comprises a home security device; and a display in communication with the processor to display at least: (i) information associated with the heart rate data; and (ii) information associated with data received by the transceiver. 2. The wearable appliance of claim 1 further comprising at least one of a temperature sensor, blood oxygen sensor and light sensor. 3. The wearable appliance of claim 1 further comprising software code to generate information regarding steps taken using the movement data captured by the accelerometer. 4. The wearable appliance of claim 1 further comprising software code to generate information regarding steps taken using the movement data captured by the accelerometer. 5. The wearable appliance of claim 1 further comprising a vibration motor in communication with the processor. 6. The wearable appliance of claim 5 further comprising software code executed by the processor to activate the vibration motor in response to receipt of data by the transceiver. 7. The wearable appliance of claim 1 further comprising software code to record audio input received by the microphone, and software code to output audio associated with the data received by the transceiver via the wireless network. 8. The wearable appliance of claim 7 further comprising software code to transmit, using the transceiver, the recorded audio input via the wireless network. 9. The wearable appliance of claim 1 further comprising at least one of a gyroscope and a compass. 10. A wearable appliance comprising: a processor; an accelerometer in communication with the processor to capture movement data; a heart rate sensor in communication with the processor to capture heart rate data; a vibration motor in communication with the processor; a transceiver in communication with the processor to receive data via a wireless network, the transceiver further in communication with a plurality of wireless nodes forming a mesh network, wherein at least one of the plurality of wireless network nodes comprises a home security device; a display in communication with the processor to display at least: (i) informaion associated with data received by the transceiver; and (ii) information associated with the heart rate data. 11. The wearable appliance of claim 10 wherein the transceiver comprises a transceiver in communication with the processor to receive at least telephonesall data via a wireless network. 12. The wearable appliance of claim 11 , wherein the telephonesall data comprises at least caller-ID data. 13. The wearable appliance of claim 10 further comprising software code executed by the processor to generate data regarding sleep. 14. The wearable appliance of claim 13 wherein the software code to generate data regarding sleep comprises instructions to use at least the movement data captured by the accelerometer. 15. The wearable appliance of claim 10 further comprising memory to store a history of movement data. 16. The wearable appliance of claim 10 further comprising an altitude sensor. 17. The wearable appliance of claim 10 further comprising a GPS sensor to generate information regarding a location of the wearable appliance. 18. The wearable appliance of claim 10 further comprising a light sensor. 19. The wearable appliance of claim 10 further comprising a gyroscope. 20. The wearable appliance of claim 10 further comprising a compass. 21. The wearable appliance of claim 10 wherein the display comprises a display to receive touch input.
