According to some embodiments, a wearable medical device capable of treating a patient presenting with syncope is provided. The wearable medical device includes a memory storing event profile information, a battery, at least one treatment electrode coupled to the battery, at least one processor coupled to the memory and the at least one treatment electrode, and an event manager executed by the at least one processor. The event manager is configured to detect an event associated with syncope; store, in the memory, data descriptive of the event in association with an indication that the data includes data descriptive of a syncopal event; and address the event.

What is claimed is: 1. A method of treating a patient presenting with syncope, the method comprising: monitoring, by a plurality of physiological sensors of an external wearable defibrillator worn by the patient and configured to provide a therapeutic treatment to the patient via one or more external treatment electrodes disposed in the external wearable defibrillator, a plurality of physiological parameters, the plurality of physiological parameters including at least an electrocardiogram signal of the patient; detecting, by the external wearable defibrillator, an event associated with syncope based on the plurality of physiological parameters and data received from at least one motion sensor disposed on the patient; storing, by the external wearable defibrillator and responsive to detecting the event, data descriptive of the event in association with an indication that the data includes data descriptive of a syncopal event; and addressing the event. 2. The method according to claim 1 , wherein detecting the event includes detecting a cardiac arrhythmia. 3. The method according to claim 2 , wherein detecting the cardiac arrhythmia includes detecting at least one of ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, and bradycardia. 4. The method according to claim 3 , wherein providing the therapeutic treatment includes issuing at least one of a pacing pulse and a defibrillation shock. 5. The method according to claim 1 , wherein addressing the event further includes issuing a notification to an external entity. 6. The method according to claim 1 , wherein detecting the event further includes identifying a pattern of data in the data received from the plurality of physiological sensors and the at least one motion sensor. 7. The method according to claim 6 , wherein identifying the pattern of data includes identifying a pattern of data indicative of a level of dyskinesia. 8. The method according to claim 7 , wherein identifying the pattern of data includes identifying a pattern of data indicative of a location of the patient within a space. 9. An external wearable defibrillator capable of treating a patient presenting with syncope, the external wearable defibrillator comprising: a memory storing event profile information; a battery; a plurality of physiological sensors disposed on the patient; at least one motion sensor disposed on the patient; at least one external treatment electrode disposed on the patient and operationally coupled to the battery; at least one processor coupled to the memory and the at least one external treatment electrode; and an event manager executed by the at least one processor and configured to: monitor a plurality of physiological parameters received from the plurality of physiological sensors, the plurality of physiological parameters including at least an electrocardiogram signal of the patient; detect an event associated with syncope based on the plurality of physiological parameters and data received from the at least one motion sensor disposed on the patient; store, in the memory of the external wearable defibrillator and responsive to detecting the event, data descriptive of the event in association with an indication that the data includes data descriptive of a syncopal event; and address the event by delivering a therapeutic treatment to the patient. 10. The external wearable defibrillator according to claim 9 , wherein the event includes a cardiac arrhythmia. 11. The external wearable defibrillator according to claim 10 , wherein the cardiac arrhythmia is at least one of ventricular tachycardia, ventricular fibrillation, and bradycardia. 12. The external wearable defibrillator according to claim 11 , wherein the event manager is configured to deliver the therapeutic treatment by issuing at least one of a pacing pulse and a defibrillation shock. 13. The external wearable defibrillator according to claim 9 , wherein the event manager is further configured to address the event by issuing a notification to an external entity. 14. The external wearable defibrillator according to claim 9 , wherein the event manager is further configured to detect the event by identifying a pattern of data in the data received from a plurality of physiological sensors and the at least one motion sensor. 15. The external wearable defibrillator according to claim 14 , wherein the event profile information includes information descriptive of the pattern of data. 16. The external wearable defibrillator according to claim 15 , wherein the pattern of data includes a pattern of data indicative of a level of dyskinesia. 17. The external wearable defibrillator according to claim 16 , wherein the pattern of data includes a pattern of data indicative of a location of the patient within a space. 18. A method for protecting a patient presenting with syncope from cardiac dysfunction, the method comprising: identifying a syncopal event within the patient's history; and providing, responsive to identifying the syncopal event within the patient's history, the patient with an external wearable defibrillator configured to provide therapy through one or more external treatment electrodes. 19. The method according to claim 18 , further comprising monitoring the patient's physiology via the external wearable defibrillator. 20. The method according to claim 19 , further comprising contacting the patient where monitoring reveals an arrhythmia. 21. The method according to claim 20 , wherein providing the patient with the external wearable defibrillator is responsive to a diagnosis of at least one of cardiac dysfunction and undiagnosed syncope. 22. The method according to claim 18 , wherein providing the patient with the external wearable defibrillator includes providing the patient with an external wearable defibrillator configured to identify and treat cardiac dysfunction. 23. The method according to claim 18 , wherein providing the patient with the external wearable defibrillator includes an act of providing the patient with an external wearable defibrillator that includes a long term wear electrode. 24.
