The invention claimed is: 1. A guide assembly comprising: a sliding rail comprising a first channel and a second channel; a first fitting comprising a first retaining rail, wherein the first retaining rail is configured to slide within the first channel, wherein the first retaining rail comprises a depression; a second fitting comprising a second retaining rail, wherein the second retaining rail is configured to slide within the second channel; and a shear kit disposed in the sliding rail and configured so that the depression receives the shear kit, wherein the first fitting and the second fitting comprise two separate pieces and are configured to be independently coupled to a vehicle. 2. The guide assembly of claim 1 , wherein the first retaining rail and the second retaining rail comprise a T shape. 3. The guide assembly of claim 2 , wherein the first channel comprises a first retaining tab and a second retaining tab. 4. The guide assembly of claim 3 , wherein the first retaining tab and the second retaining tab are configured to mate with the first retaining rail to restrain the sliding rail from moving away from the first fitting. 5. The guide assembly of claim 1 , wherein the first retaining rail has a first position with respect to the first fitting sized to accommodate a first pallet. 6. The guide assembly of claim 5 , wherein the first retaining rail has a second position with respect to the first fitting sized to accommodate a second pallet, the second pallet having a different width than the first pallet. 7. The guide assembly of claim 1 , wherein the sliding rail slides with respect to the first fitting in a first direction, wherein the first retaining rail extends from the first fitting in a second direction, the first direction being orthogonal to the second direction, the depression extends along the second direction and the shear kit extends from the sliding rail along the second direction. 8. The guide assembly of claim 1 , wherein a surface the sliding rail comprises an angle to assist in the positioning of at least one of a first cargo and a second cargo within the vehicle. 9. The guide assembly of claim 8 , wherein the angle is between 5 and 15 degrees with respect to a plane that is orthogonal to the first direction.
