Official abstract text for this publication.
In particular embodiments, one or more computer systems of a social-networking system identify a user viewing video content on a first display device, identify the video content being viewed on the first display device by the user, and determine a second display device associated with the identified user. The one or more computer systems of the social-networking system determine an action related to the video content being viewed by the user on the first display device and provide one or more instructions to the determined second display device to display a call-to-action associated with the determined action.

What is claimed is: 1. A method comprising: by one or more computing devices, identifying video content being viewed on a first display device by a user; by the one or more computing devices, analyzing a graph to determine a second display device associated with the user, the graph comprising: first nodes of a first node type; second nodes of a second node type; and a plurality of ownership edges connecting the first nodes and the second nodes, each particular ownership edge indicating that a particular user corresponding to a particular first node owns a particular display device corresponding to a particular second node; and by the one or more computing devices, providing one or more instructions to the determined second display device to display information on the second display device that is related to the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device. 2. The method of claim 1 , wherein: the second display device comprises a mobile device; and the selectable action is displayed in a mobile application running on the mobile device. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein the information displayed on the second display device comprises a selectable option that is operable, once selected, to perform a pre-defined action. 4. The method of claim 3 , wherein the pre defined action comprised one of: displaying a website associated with the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; displaying a mobile app associated with the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; transmitting a vote of the user to the one or more computing devices, the vote being related to the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; or initiating a telephone call. 5. The method of claim 1 , wherein the information displayed on the second display device comprises one of: a website associated with the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; a mobile app associated with the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; social content; a chat session; a sports ticker; or a sports scoreboard. 6. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more instructions to display information on the second display device that is related to the video content being viewed by the user on the first display device are sent in response to an advertisement within the video content on the first display device. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more instructions to display information on the second display device that is related to the video content being viewed by the user on the first display device are sent in response to certain audio or video within the video content on the first display device. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the one or more instructions to display information on the second display device that is related to the video content being viewed by the user on the first display device are sent in response to metadata within the video content on the first display device. 9. One or more computer-readable non-transitory storage media in one or more computing systems, the media embodying logic that is operable when executed to: identify video content being viewed on a first display device by a user; analyze a graph to determine a second display device associated with the user, the graph comprising: first nodes of a first node type; second nodes of a second node type; and a plurality of ownership edges connecting the first nodes and the second nodes, each particular ownership edge indicating that a particular user corresponding to a particular first node owns a particular display device corresponding to a particular second node; and provide one or more instructions to the determined second display device to display information on the second display device that is related to the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device. 10. The media of claim 9 , wherein the information displayed on the second display device comprises a selectable option that is operable, once selected, to perform a pre-defined action. 11. The media of claim 10 , wherein the pre-defined action comprised one of: displaying a website associated with the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; displaying a mobile app associated with the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; transmitting a vote of the user to the one or more computing devices, the vote being related to the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; or initiating a telephone call. 12. The media of claim 9 , wherein the information displayed on the second display device comprises one of: a website associated with the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; a mobile app associated with the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; social content; a chat session; a sports ticker; or a sports scoreboard. 13. The media of claim 9 , wherein the one or more instructions to display information on the second display device that is related to the video content being viewed by the user on the first display device are sent in response to an advertisement within the video content on the first display device. 14. The media of claim 9 , wherein the one or more instructions to display information on the second display device that is related to the video content being viewed by the user on the first display device are sent in response to certain audio or video within the video content on the first display device. 15. A system, comprising: one or more memory devices; and a processor communicatively coupled to the one or more memory devices, the processor operable to: identify video content being viewed on a first display device by a user; analyze a graph to determine a second display device associated with the user, the graph comprising: first nodes of a first node type; second nodes of a second node type; and a plurality of ownership edges connecting the first nodes and the second nodes, each particular ownership edge indicating that a particular user corresponding to a particular first node owns a particular display device corresponding to a particular second node; and provide one or more instructions to the determined second display device to display information on the second display device that is related to the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device. 16. The system of claim 15 , wherein the information displayed on the second display device comprises a selectable option that is operable, once selected, to perform a pre-defined action. 17. The system of claim 16 , wherein the pre-defined action comprised one of: displaying a website associated with the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; displaying a mobile app associated with the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; transmitting a vote of the user to the one or more computing devices, the vote being related to the identified video content being viewed by the user on the first display device; or initiating a telephone call. 18. The system of claim 15 , wherein the information displayed on the second display device comprises one of: website associated with the identified video content being viewed by t
