A sport bra having an adjustable underband tightening assembly is provided herein. The sport bra comprises a front portion having a pair of breast-supporting structures, a pair of shoulder straps, and a front underband segment comprising a first wing extending away from a first side of the front underband segment and terminating in a first free end and a second wing extending away from a second side of the front underband segment and terminating in a second free end. The sport bra further comprises a back portion having a central body portion, a pair of shoulder straps secured to the shoulder straps of the front portion, and a back underband segment unaffixed to the front underband segment in an un-worn configuration.

What is claimed is: 1. A sport bra comprising: a front portion adapted to cover a wearer's breasts and at least a portion of the wearer's torso when the sport bra is in an as-worn configuration, the front portion comprising: a pair of breast-supporting structures, a first pair of shoulder straps extending from an upper margin of the pair of breast-supporting structures, and a front underband segment extending from a lower margin of the pair of breast-supporting structures and adapted to cover the portion of the wearer's torso when the sport bra is in the as-worn configuration, the front underband segment comprising a first wing that extends away from a first side and terminates in a first free end, and a second wing that extends away from a second side and terminates in a second free end, the first and second free ends having first releasable fastener mechanisms located thereon; a back portion adapted to cover at least a portion of the wearer's back when the sport bra is in the as-worn configuration, the back portion comprising at least: a second pair of shoulder straps extending from an upper margin of the back portion, the second pair of shoulder straps secured to the first pair of shoulder straps to define an opening through which the wearer's head is inserted or removed when the sport bra is donned or doffed, and a back underband segment extending from a lower margin of the back portion, the back underband segment having a third end and a fourth end that are each configured to extend to an approximate mid-axillary line of the wearer when the sport bra is in the as-worn configuration; and second releasable fastener mechanisms located adjacent to the third end and fourth end of the back underband segment, the second releasable fastener mechanisms configured to complement the first releasable fastener mechanisms of the first and second free ends, and releasably secure in part the first free end of the first wing and the second free end of the second wing. 2. The sport bra of claim 1 , wherein a first breast-supporting structure of the pair comprises a first piece of material that is adapted to primarily cover a left breast region, and a second breast-supporting structure of the pair comprises a second piece of material that is adapted to primarily cover a right breast region. 3. The sport bra of claim 2 , wherein the first and second breast-supporting structures are demarcated from one another. 4. The sport bra of claim 2 , wherein the pair of breast-supporting structures comprise natural or man-made fibers that provide a degree of elasticity. 5. The sport bra of claim 1 , wherein the second pair of shoulder straps is fixedly secured to the first pair of shoulder straps when the sport bra is in an un-assembled state. 6. The sport bra of claim 1 , wherein at least a first piece of the front portion comprises a first material, and the back portion comprises a second material. 7. The sport bra of claim 6 , wherein the first piece of the front portion is the pair of breast-supporting structures. 8. The sport bra of claim 1 , wherein the sport bra presents a second opening formed by the front and back underband segments when the sport bra is in an assembled state, and wherein the back underband segment has a length equal to or slightly greater than a diameter of the second opening as measured from a first lateral side of the second opening to a second lateral side of the second opening. 9. A sport bra comprising: a front portion adapted to cover a wearer's breasts and at least a portion of the wearer's torso when the sport bra is in an as-worn configuration, the front portion comprising: a pair of breast-supporting structures comprising a first material, a first pair of shoulder straps extending from an upper margin of the pair of breast-supporting structures, and a front underband segment extending from a lower margin of the pair of breast-supporting structures and adapted to cover the portion of the wearer's torso when the sport bra is in the as-worn configuration, the front underband segment comprising a first wing that extends away from a first side and terminates in a first free end, and a second wing that extends away from a second side and terminates in a second free end, the first and second free ends having first releasable fastener mechanisms located thereon; a back portion comprising a second material and adapted to cover at least a portion of the wearer's back when the sport bra is in the as-worn configuration, the back portion comprising at least: a second pair of shoulder straps extending from an upper margin of the back portion, the second pair of shoulder straps being secured to the first pair of shoulder straps to define an opening through which the wearer's head is inserted or removed when the sport bra is donned or doffed, and a back underband segment extending from a lower margin of the back portion, the back underband segment having a third end and a fourth end that are each configured to extend to an approximate mid-axillary line of the wearer when the sport bra is in the as-worn configuration; and second releasable fastener mechanisms located adjacent to the third end and fourth end of the back underband segment, the second releasable fastener mechanisms configured to complement the first releasable fastener mechanisms of the first and second free ends, and releasably secure in part the first free end of the first wing and the second free end of the second wing. 10. The sport bra of claim 9 , wherein a first breast-supporting structure of the pair comprises a first piece of material that is adapted to primarily cover a left breast region, and a second breast-supporting structure of the pair comprises a second piece of material is adapted to primarily cover a right breast region. 11. The sport bra of claim 10 , wherein the first and second breast-supporting structures are demarcated from one another. 12. The sport bra of claim 11 , wherein the pair of breast-supporting structures comprise natural or man-made fibers that provide a degree of elasticity. 13. The sport bra of claim 9 , wherein the second pair of shoulder straps is fixedly secured to the first pair of shoulder straps when the sport bra is in an un-assembled state. 14. The sport bra of claim 9 , wherein the sport bra presents a second opening formed by the front and back underband segments when the sport bra is in an assembled state, and wherein the back underband segment has a length equal to or slightly greater than a diameter of the second opening as measured from a first lateral side of the second opening to a second lateral side of the second opening. 15. A sport bra comprising: a front portion adapted to cover a wearer's breasts and at least a portion of the wearer's torso when the sport bra is in an as-worn configuration, the front portion comprising: a pair of breast-supporting structures, a first pair of shoulder straps extending from an upper margin of the pair of breast-supporting structures, and a front underband segment extending from a lower margin of the pair of breast-supporting structures and adapted to cover the portion of the wearer's torso when the sport bra is in the as-worn configuration, the front underband segment comprising a first wing that extends away from a first side and terminates in a first free end, and a second wing that extends away from a second side and terminates in a second free end, the first and second free ends having first releasable fastener mechanisms located thereon; a back portion adapted to cover at least a portion of the wearer's back when the sport bra is in the as-worn co
