A spinal implant device has a synthetic or metallic or a combination thereof of these materials in an implant body structure and stem cells in a coating, or a sheet, wrap or a membrane wrap applied to surfaces on the implant body structure or alternatively filled with a plug of stem cell laden material. The implant body structure preferably has an aperture or channel The spinal implant device may include anchoring holes to secure the device to the spinal skeletal structure with fasteners or alternatively can simply be held in place by and between adjacent vertebrae.

What is claimed is: 1. A method of spray coating an implant device with stem cells comprising the steps of: providing a synthetic or metallic implant body structure for implantation; providing stem cells for dispersal onto the implant body structure in a spray coated mist; spraying the spray coated mist to the exterior outer surfaces on the synthetic or metallic implant body structure; drying the spray coated implant to form a stem cell laden outer thin membrane, skin-like wrap onto exterior outer surfaces and conforming to the exterior outer surfaces on the synthetic or metallic implant body structure; and inserting the implantable device unanchored to a skeletal spinal structure; and holding the implant device in place by and between adjacent vertebrae. 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the body structure is made of a synthetic implantable grade plastic. 3. The method of claim 2 wherein the synthetic plastic is an implantable grade thermoplastic material. 4. The method of claim 3 wherein the thermoplastic material is one of PEEK (polyether ether ketone), polyethylene, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, acetal copolymer, polyphenylsulfone, polysulfone, polythermide, implantable grade lennite UHME-PE. 5. The method of claim 4 wherein the implantable grade thermoplastic is polyether ether ketone. 6. The method of claim 1 wherein the implant body structure is made of titanium. 7. The method of claim 1 wherein the implant body structure is made of stainless steel. 8. The method of claim 1 , wherein the implant device is spray mist coated with the stem cell laden membrane at a surgical site. 9. The method of claim 1 wherein the implant device is spray mist coated with a stem cell laden membrane coated with the stem cells at a manufacturing site by having the implant body structure being sterilized, then spray mist coated in a sterile environment and sealed in a sterile packaging. 10. The method of claim 9 further comprises the step of re-hydrating the stem cell membrane. 11. The method of claim 1 further comprising: packing the spinal implant having a synthetic or metallic body structure spray coated with a coating of stem cells in a package or container. 12. The method of claim 11 wherein the packaged spinal implant spray coated in a material laden with stem cells is sealed in the package or container with a sterile liquid medium. 13. A method of preparing a device for implantation, the device being a synthetic or metallic implant body structure, comprising the steps of: coating the synthetic or metallic implant body structure with stem cells using a spray coated mist, the spray mist being applied to exterior outer surfaces on the synthetic or metallic implant body structure; and inserting on or into a skeletal spinal structure the synthetic or metallic implant body structure. 14. The method of claim 13 wherein the body structure is made of a synthetic implantable grade plastic. 15. The method of claim 14 wherein the synthetic plastic is an implantable grade thermoplastic material. 16. The method of claim 15 wherein the thermoplastic material is one of PEEK (polyether ether ketone), polyethylene, ultra high molecular weight polyethylene, acetal copolymer, polyphenylsulfone, polysulfone, polythermide, implantable grade lennite UHME-PE. 17. The method of claim 16 wherein the implantable grade thermoplastic is polyether ether ketone.
