An ornithopter includes a main wing mounted on a fuselage. The main wing includes a main spar extending outwardly from the fuselage, and a rib extending rearwardly from the main spar. The rib has an S-shaped camber.

The invention claimed is: 1. An ornithopter comprising: a main wing mounted on a fuselage, wherein the main wing comprises: a main spar extending outwardly from the fuselage; and a plurality of ribs extending rearwardly from the main spar, wherein the plurality of ribs include a rib disposed at an end of the main spar, wherein each of the plurality of ribs has an S-shaped camber, and wherein each of the plurality of ribs is arranged to be passively automatically tilted based on a flight speed and a lowering speed of the main wing without an actuator which directly and mechanically moves each of the plurality of ribs. 2. The ornithopter according to claim 1 , wherein each of the plurality of ribs is rotatable around the main spar. 3. The ornithopter according to claim 1 , wherein a hole is formed in a front portion of each of the plurality of ribs, and wherein the main spar is disposed so as to pass through the hole in each of the plurality of ribs.
