The present disclosure relates to compounds which are useful as cooling sensation compounds.

What is claimed is: 1. A compound selected from the group consisting of or a salt thereof. 2. The compound of claim 1 having the structure or a salt thereof. 3. The compound of claim 1 having the structure or a salt thereof. 4. The compound of claim 1 having the structure or a salt thereof. 5. The compound of claim 1 having the structure or a salt thereof. 6. The compound of claim 1 having the structure or a salt thereof. 7. A composition, comprising a compound of claim 1 and at least one carrier. 8. The composition of claim 7 , wherein the composition is an ingestible composition or personal care product. 9. The composition of claim 7 , wherein the composition is a food or beverage. 10. The composition of claim 7 , wherein the composition is a topical personal care product. 11. The composition of claim 7 , wherein the composition is in form of a solid, semi-solid, plaster, solution, suspension, lotion, cream, foam, gel, paste, or emulsion. 12. The composition of claim 7 , wherein the compound in the composition is in a concentration ranging from about 0.0001 ppm to 100,000 ppm. 13. The composition of claim 7 , wherein the compound in the composition is in a concentration ranging from about 1 ppm to 500 ppm. 14. The composition of claim 7 , which is a textile product or a packaging material. 15. A method of modulating transient receptor potential channel melastatin member 8 (TRPM8) comprising contacting the receptor with a compound of claim 1 . 16. The method of claim 15 , wherein the compound is a TRPM8 receptor agonist. 17. A method of modulating the cooling sensation of a composition comprising combining the composition with a compound of claim 1 to form a modified composition. 18. A method of inducing a cooling sensation in a human or animal comprising contacting the human or animal with a compound of claim 1 .
