A method and system are provided for automatic wireless connection to a digital device in a portable terminal, wherein information about the portable terminal is acquired. The information about the portable terminal is commonly used for automatic wireless connection to the digital device. A state of a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) is checked and activated, and the WLAN is set to an Ad-hoc mode. A Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the WLAN is set using the acquired portable terminal information, a security key of the WLAN is set using the acquired portable terminal information, and an Internet Protocol (IP) address of the WLAN is automatically set using the acquired portable terminal information.

What is claimed is: 1. A method for automatic wireless connection to a digital device in a portable terminal, comprising: acquiring a phone number and an Electronic Serial Number (ESN) of the portable terminal; setting, by the portable terminal, a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) to an Ad-hoc mode; automatically generating, by the portable terminal, a Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the WLAN using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal; automatically generating, by the portable terminal, a security key of the WLAN using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal; automatically generating, by the portable terminal, an Internet Protocol (IP) address for the WLAN using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal; and wirelessly connecting, by the portable terminal, to the digital device using the IP address for the WLAN. 2. The method of claim 1 , further comprising checking and activating a state of the WLAN, after the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal are acquired. 3. The method of claim 1 , wherein generating the SSID comprises generating a 32-byte SSID by a first hash function by combining the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein generating the security key comprises generating a 13-byte text-type Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) key by a second hash function by combining the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal. 5. The method of claim 1 , further comprising: connecting the portable terminal to the digital device via a dedicated connector; and delivering the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal to the digital device via the dedicated connector. 6. A method for automatic wireless connection to a portable terminal in a digital device, comprising: acquiring, by the digital device, a phone number and an Electronic Serial Number (ESN) of the portable terminal; setting, by the digital device, a Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) to an Ad-hoc mode; automatically generating, by the digital device, a Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the WLAN using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal; automatically generating, by the digital device, a security key of the WLAN using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal; automatically generating, by the digital device, an Internet Protocol (IP) address for the WLAN using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal; and wirelessly connecting, by the digital device, to the portable terminal using the IP address for the WLAN. 7. The method of claim 6 , further comprising checking and activating a state of the WLAN, after the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal is acquired. 8. The method of claim 6 , wherein acquiring the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal comprises receiving at least one of the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal, as input from a user. 9. The method of claim 6 , wherein generating the SSID comprises generating a 32-byte SSID by a first hash function by combining the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal. 10. The method of claim 6 , wherein generating the security key comprises generating a 13-byte text-type Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) key by a second hash function by combining the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal. 11. The method of claim 6 , wherein acquiring the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal comprises: connecting the digital device to the portable terminal via a dedicated connector; and automatically acquiring the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal from the portable terminal via the dedicated connector. 12. A system for automatic wireless connection, comprising: a portable terminal for checking a phone number and an Electronic Serial Number (ESN) of the portable terminal, upon an initiation request for an automatic Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN) connection procedure, and performing the automatic WLAN connection procedure using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal; and a digital device for acquiring the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal, and performing the automatic WLAN connection procedure to the portable terminal using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal; wherein each of the portable terminal and the digital device sets the WLAN to an Ad-hoc mode, automatically generates a Service Set Identifier (SSID) of the WLAN using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal, automatically generates a security key of the WLAN using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal, automatically generates an Internet Protocol (IP) address for the WLAN using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal, and wirelessly connects using the IP address for the WLAN. 13. The system of claim 12 , wherein the digital device acquires the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal by receiving at least one of the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal, as in input from a user. 14. The system of claim 12 , wherein the digital device automatically acquires the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal from the portable terminal, if the digital device is connected to the portable terminal via a dedicated connector. 15. The system of claim 12 , wherein the portable terminal delivers the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal to the digital device, if the portable terminal is connected to the digital device via a dedicated connector. 16. The system of claim 12 , wherein the SSID of the WLAN is set by generating a 32-byte SSID by a first hash function by combining the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal. 17. The system of claim 12 , wherein the security key of the WLAN is set by generating a 13-byte text-type Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) key by a second hash function by combining the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal. 18. The system of claim 12 , wherein each of the portable terminal and the digital device checks and activates a state of a WLAN, after acquiring the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal. 19. The method of claim 1 , wherein generating the IP address for the WLAN comprise: automatically generating, by the portable terminal, a plurality of IP addresses for the WLAN using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal; selecting, by the portable terminal, one of the plurality of IP addresses; and wirelessly connecting, by the portable terminal, to the digital device using the selected IP address. 20. The method of claim 6 , wherein generating the IP address for the WLAN comprise: automatically generating, by the digital device, a plurality of IP addresses for the WLAN using the phone number and the ESN of the portable terminal; selecting, by the digital device, one of the plurality of IP addresses; and wirelessly connecting, by the digital device, to the digital device using the selected IP address. 21.
