A display apparatus includes a shroud having first and second sheet portions disposed in opposition to one another, the first and second sheet portions being connected to one another at a first side by a first joint and at a second side by a second joint. A support member is disposed between the first and second sheet portions and between the first and second joints, the support member being affixed to the first and second sheet portions and movably disposed relative to the first and second joints, the support member being positionable between a closed position and an open position, the open position outwardly biasing the support member against the first and second sheet portions to cause the shroud to assume a curvilinear cross-sectional shape along a length of the shroud. Notches are formed in the first and second joints at a first position along the length of the shroud. One or more elastic members couple the support member the first and/or second joints and bias the support member into the open position and toward engagement with the notches.

What is claimed is: 1. A display apparatus, comprising: a shroud including a first sheet portion and a second sheet portion disposed in opposition to one another and connected to one another at a first side by a first joint and at a second side by a second joint; a support member disposed between the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion and between the first joint and the second joint, the support member being affixed to the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion and movable between a closed position and an open position, the open position outwardly biasing the support member against the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion to cause the shroud to assume a curvilinear cross-sectional shape along a length of the shroud; notches formed in the first joint and the second joint at a first position along the length of the shroud, the support member engaged with the notches in the open position and disengaged from the notches in the closed position; and an elastic member coupling the support member to at least one of the first joint and the second joint, the elastic member biasing the support member into the open position and toward engagement with the notches. 2. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the support member includes at least one of an ovoid, elliptical or oblong shape. 3. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the support member includes a line of weakness extending along the support member, from the first joint to the second joint, and defining a first half and a second half of the support member. 4. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the support member is affixed to the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion via a plurality of tabs. 5. The display apparatus of claim 4 , wherein axes of rotation of the plurality of tabs are displaced from the notches to prevent the support member from attaining a fully planar orientation in the open position. 6. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the support member is affixed to the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion via an adhesive. 7. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the support member is affixed to the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion via a plurality of tabs, and wherein the plurality of tabs are affixed to the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion via adhesives. 8. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the support member includes a first support member and a second support member, disposed between the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion and between the first joint and the second joint, each of the first support member and the second support member being affixed to the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion and movable between a closed position and an open position, the open position of the first support member and the second support member outwardly biasing the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion to cause the shroud to assume a curvilinear cross-sectional shape along a length of the shroud, the first support member being disposed at a top portion of the shroud and the second support member being disposed at a bottom portion of the shroud, wherein the notches include a first set of notches and a second set of notches, the first set of notches being formed in the first joint and the second joint at the first position along the length of the shroud, the first position being disposed at a top portion of the shroud, the second set of notches being formed in the first joint and the second joint at a second position along the length of the shroud, the second position being disposed at a bottom portion of the shroud, the first support member engaged with the first set notches in the open position and disengaged from the first set notches in the closed position, and the second support member engaged with the second set of notches in the open position and disengaged from the second set of notches in the closed position. 9. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein, in the closed position of the support member, the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion are disposed adjacent one another to cause the shroud to assume a substantially flat shape. 10. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the notches include a first notch formed in the first joint at a first position along the length of the shroud and a second notch formed in the second joint at the first position along a longitudinal axis of the shroud; and wherein contact between the support member and the first notch of the first joint and the second notch of the second joint stops inward transverse travel of the joints at a position corresponding to the open position. 11. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion are different parts of a same sheet, and wherein the first joint is a fold in the sheet, defining a separation between the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion. 12. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein lateral edges of the support member are affixed to the first sheet portion and the second sheet portion at at least a first point on the first sheet portion between the first joint and the second joint and a second point on the second sheet portion between the first joint and the second joint, and wherein the first point and the second point are displaced from the notches, along a longitudinal axis of the shroud, to prevent the support member from attaining a fully planar orientation in the open position. 13. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the support member is substantially planar in the open position. 14. The display apparatus of claim 1 , wherein the first joint and the second joint extend along a longitudinal axis of the display, wherein the support member includes a central portion movable along the longitudinal axis, and the support member includes a first lateral side and a second lateral side, the first lateral side spaced apart from the first joint in the closed position, and the second lateral side spaced apart from the second joint in the closed position. 15. A method of forming a display apparatus, comprising: disposing a first sheet having lateral ends adjacent to a second sheet having lateral ends, each of the first sheet and second sheet having transverse lines of weakness spaced apart along a length thereof; connecting a lateral end of the first sheet to a lateral end of the second sheet to form a first joint; connecting another lateral end of the first sheet to another lateral end of the second sheet to form a second joint and to define a shroud structure; disposing a support member between the first sheet and the second sheet between the first joint and the second joint so that a first side of the support member is attached to the first sheet, a second side of the support member is attached to the second sheet, and a central portion of the support member including a third side and a fourth side of the support member is movable between an open position in which the third side of the support member engages the first joint and the fourth side of the support member engages the second joint and a closed position in which the third side of the support member is spaced apart from the first joint and the fourth side of the support member is spaced apart from the second joint; attaching a first end of a first elastic member to the support member and attaching a second end of the first elastic member to the first joint; attaching a first end of a second elastic member to the support member and attaching a second end of the second
