A merchandising assembly includes a latch configured to attach a cooperating member to a rail supported on an associated shelf. The rail is adapted to be mounted to the associated shelf and the elongated cooperating member is configured to engage the rail. The latch includes a first end and an opposite second end, such that the first end is adapted to be attached to the cooperating member and the second end is configured to be selectively attached to the rail. The latch includes a first arm and a second arm, the first arm being spaced from the second arm such that the first arm can be resiliently biased relative to the second arm. An attachment member extends from the first arm and is configured to selectively connect to the rail.

The invention claimed is: 1. A merchandising assembly including a latch configured to attach a cooperating member to a rail supported on an associated shelf, the assembly comprising: a rail adapted to be mounted to an associated shelf; an elongated cooperating member; a latch including a first arm extending in a first direction and a second arm coupled to the first arm and extending in the first direction, the first arm spaced from flail the second arm such that the first arm can be resiliently biased relative to the second arm and relative to the cooperating member; and an attachment member which extends from the first arm and is configured to selectively connect to the rail. 2. The assembly according to claim 1 further comprising a press surface located on the first arm, the press surface being configured to be pressed to bias the first arm relative to the second arm. 3. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the cooperating member defines a channel that is configured to receive a first portion of the latch. 4. The assembly according to claim 3 , wherein the channel of the cooperating member includes a top opening that is aligned with a press surface of the latch and configured to allow the press surface to be pressed and bias the first arm relative to the second arm. 5. The assembly according to claim 1 , wherein the attachment member is integrally formed with the latch. 6. The assembly of claim 1 , wherein the latch includes a first end and an opposite second end such that the first end is adapted to be attached to the cooperating member and the second end is configured to be selectively attached to the rail. 7. The assembly of claim 6 , wherein the rail is configured to be positioned along a front edge of the associated shelf, the rail including a first side and a second side including an elongated member, wherein the attachment member is configured to cooperate with the elongated member. 8. The assembly according to claim 7 , wherein the attachment member includes a hook that extends from the second end of the latch in a generally perpendicular orientation relative to the second arm. 9. The assembly of claim 8 wherein the hook is configured to be received in a space defined between the elongated member and the second side of the rail when the latch is attached to the rail. 10. The assembly according to claim 6 , wherein the latch further comprises a first portion adjacent the first end having a first dimension and a second portion adjacent the second end having a second dimension wherein the second dimension is greater than the first dimension. 11. A merchandising assembly comprising: a rail configured to be mounted to an associated shelf; a cooperating member; and a latch configured to selectively attach the cooperating member to the rail, the latch comprising: a one-piece U-shaped body including a first arm, a second arm spaced from the first arm, and a link portion which connects the first arm to the second arm, wherein the body comprises a resilient material such that the first arm is movable in relation to the second arm, and a press surface defined on the first arm and configured to be pressed to move the first arm relative to the cooperating member and towards the second arm. 12. The assembly of claim 11 further comprising: an attachment member extending from the first arm and configured to selectively connect to the rail. 13. The assembly of claim 12 wherein the attachment member includes a protrusion which cooperates with a rearwardly extending portion of the rail. 14. The assembly of claim 13 wherein the attachment member further includes an abutment surface which frictionally engages a section of the rearwardly extending portion of the rail. 15. The assembly of claim 14 wherein the abutment surface comprises a layer of material that is coextruded with a material of the latch. 16. The assembly of claim 11 wherein the second arm includes a base platform which abuts a base surface of the rail. 17. The assembly of claim 11 wherein a free end of the first arm is spaced apart from a free end of the second arm by a first distance when the first arm is in a biased position relative to the second arm, and wherein the free end of the first arm is spaced apart from the free end of the second arm by a second distance when the first arm is in a neutral position relative to the second arm, and wherein the second distance is greater than the first distance. 18. The assembly of claim 11 wherein the link portion of the latch is adapted to be connected to the cooperating member. 19. A merchandising assembly comprising: an elongated rail configured to be mounted to an associated shelf, the rail including a first longitudinal axis; an elongated cooperating member including a second longitudinal axis, wherein the second longitudinal axis is oriented perpendicular to the first longitudinal axis; and a latch configured to selectively attach the cooperating member to the rail, the latch being of one piece and comprising: a U-shaped body including a first arm, a second arm spaced from the first arm, and a link portion which connects the first arm to the second arm, wherein the body comprises a resilient material such that the first arm is movable in relation to the second arm, and wherein one of the first and second arms engages the rail when the first arm is not biased towards the second arm and the other of the first and second arms engages the cooperating member, and wherein the other of the first and second arms is configured to be moved relative to the cooperating member and relative to the one of the first and second arms when the one of the first and second arms engages the rail. 20. The assembly of claim 19 further comprising: a press surface defined on the first arm and configured to be pressed by an associated user to urge the first arm towards the second arm. 21. The assembly of claim 19 further comprising an attachment member extending from the first arm and configured to selectively engage the rail, wherein the attachment member includes a protrusion which cooperates with a flange extending rearwardly from the rail.
