What is claimed is: 1. An interactive gaming system comprising: a gaming platform running on one or more servers, the gaming platform hosting interactive gaming sessions, wherein the interactive gaming sessions include at least one interactive game; a player terminal communicably coupled to the gaming platform via a network, wherein the player terminal includes: one or more processors; a communications interface to connect the player terminal to the gaming platform via the network; a first display to depict gaming action from the interactive gaming session hosted by the gaming platform, a payment interaction display area to allow a player to purchase credits to be added to a credit total that can be used to place bets; a player interaction display area to receive inputs from the player during the course of the interactive gaming session to control game play; a betting display interface to receive a bet having a betting value that is then deducted from the credit total, a state recordation module, under the control of the one or more processors, recording the interactive gaming session; and wherein the gaming platform or player terminal distributes winnings from the interactive gaming sessions by adding to the credit total and before the credit total is translated to monetary value, the recording of the interactive gaming sessions is automatically analyzed to detect collusion. 2. The interactive gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the interactive games includes a game of skill, a game of chance, or a hybrid game of skill and chance. 3. The interactive gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the communications module receives, from the gaming platform, a list of multiple interactive games which are presented on the display and the player interaction area allows a player to select two or more games from the list of multiple interactive games being presented on the display, wherein a first of the two or more games is for game play and a second of the two or more games is initiated during a bonus round. 4. The interactive gaming system of claim 3 , wherein, upon processing the selection of the two or more games, the communication module transmits a selection signal from the player terminal to the gaming platform identifying the selection and requesting the player the interactive gaming session be initiated for that selection. 5. The interactive gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the display is a touchscreen and the player interaction area is presented on the touchscreen with one or more touchscreen buttons that can vary depending on a state of the interactive gaming session. 6. The interactive gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the recording of the interactive gaming session includes snapshots of the interactive gaming session based on game states. 7. The interactive gaming system of claim 6 , wherein the game states include a wager, payout levels, and skill level settings. 8. The interactive gaming system of claim 6 , wherein the snapshots of the interactive gaming session are recorded at a variable rate depending on game dynamics. 9. The interactive gaming system of claim 6 wherein the snapshots of the interactive gaming session include gaming parameters, a gaming session identifier, date and time the interactive gaming session is opened or terminated, the date and time the interactive gaming session is logged in to or is logged out of by the player terminal, and physical location of the player terminal. 10. The interactive gaming system of claim 9 , wherein the gaming parameters include ammo amounts, number of lives, or level reached during game play. 11. The interactive gaming system of claim 6 , wherein the snapshots of the interactive gaming session are captured at a rate that is dependent on the bet received via the betting interface. 12. The interactive gaming system of claim 1 , wherein the state recordation module initiates the recording of the interactive gaming session when the bet is above a first threshold. 13. An interactive gaming system comprising means for hosting interactive gaming sessions, wherein the interactive gaming sessions include at least one interactive game; and a player terminal communicably coupled to the means for hosting via a network, wherein the player terminal includes: means for depicting gaming action from the interactive gaming session; means for allowing a player to purchase credits to be added to a credit total that can be used to place bets; means for receiving inputs from the player during the course of the interactive gaming session to control game play; means for receiving a bet having a betting value that is then deducted from the credit, and means for recording at least a portion of the interactive gaming session with enough detail to reconstruct betting and gaming action; means for analyzing the recording of the at least one interactive game; and means for determining, based on the analysis of the recording, whether to translate the credit total into monetary value. 14. The interactive gaming system of claim 13 , further comprising additional heterogeneous player terminals. 15. A player terminal communicably coupled to a gaming platform via a network allowing a player to play one or more interactive games within an interactive gaming session, the player terminal comprising: one or more processors; a first display to depict gaming action from the interactive gaming session hosted by the gaming platform, a payment interaction display area to allow a player to purchase credits robe added to a credit total that can be used to place bets; a player interaction display area to receive inputs from the player during the course of the interactive gaming session to control game play; a betting display interface to receive a bet having a betting value that is then deducted from the credit total, and a state recordation module, under the control of the one or more processors, to record the interactive gaming session, wherein the recording the interactive gaming session includes any wager, payout levels, and skill level settings; and wherein the one or more processors or the gaming platform analyze the interactive gaming session before converting the credit total into a monetary value. 16. The player terminal of claim 15 , further comprising a communications module configured to receive, from the gaming platform, a list of multiple interactive games which are presented on the display and the player interaction area to allow a player to select two or more games from the list of multiple interactive games being presented on the display, wherein a first of the two or more games is for game play and a second of the two or more games is initiated during a bonus round and wherein, upon processing the selection of the two or more games, the communication module transmits a selection signal from the player terminal to the gaming platform identifying the selection and requesting the interactive gaming session be initiated for that selection. 17. The player terminal of claim 15 , wherein the display is a touchscreen and the player interaction area is presented on the touchscreen with one or more touchscreen buttons that can vary depending on a state of the interactive gaming session. 18. The player terminal of claim 15 , wherein the recording of the interactive gaming session includes snapshots of the interactive gaming session that are captured at a variable rate depending on game dynamics or amount of the bet received via the betting interface. 19. The player terminal of claim 18 , wherein th
