An epoxy terminated polyester having the structure wherein R 1 — is G- is -A- is a divalent alkyl group, —CA- is a divalent cycloalkyl group, and —R 2 — is a divalent organic group.

The invention claimed is: 1. An epoxy terminated polyester having the structure wherein R 1 — is G- is -A- is a divalent alkyl group, —CA- is a divalent cycloalkyl group, and —R 2 — is wherein said —R 4 — is a divalent organic group, and wherein said p is 0 to 20, and wherein said —R 3 — and —R 5 — is each independently selected from the group consisting of aliphatic groups having 12 or fewer carbon atoms and aromatic groups. 2. The polyester of claim 1 , wherein said -A- is —(CH 2 ) n — wherein n is 1 to 6. 3. The polyester of claim 1 , wherein said —CA- is 4. The polyester of claim 1 , wherein said —R 3 — is either —(CH 2 ) q — or wherein q is 1 to 8. 5. The polyester of claim 1 , wherein said —R 4 — is either —CH 2 —CH 2 — or —CH 2 —CH 2 —O—CH 2 —CH 2 —.
