Provided is a method for quickly producing a dental prosthesis with a good accuracy. The method for producing a dental prosthesis including: a melting step of melting a material including no less than 60.0 mass % and no more than 80.0 mass % of SiO 2 , no less than 10.0 mass % and no more than 20.0 mass % of Li 2 O, and no less than 5.1 mass % and no more than 10.0 mass % of Al 2 O 3 ; a glass blank production step of cooling to solidify the molten material to obtain a glass blank; a lithium disilicate blank production step of heating the glass blank to obtain a lithium disilicate blank whose main crystalline phase is lithium disilicate; and a processing step of processing the lithium disilicate by machining.

The invention claimed is: 1. A method for producing a dental prosthesis comprising: a melting step of melting a material comprising no less than 60.0 mass % and no more than 80.0 mass % of SiO 2 , no less than 10.0 mass % and no more than 20.0 mass % of Li 2 O, and no less than 5.1 mass % and no more than 10.0 mass % of Al 2 O 3 , and no less than 0.1 mass % and no more than 10.0 mass % of ZrO 2 ; a glass blank production step of cooling to solidify the molten material to obtain a glass blank; a lithium disilicate blank production step of heating the glass blank to obtain a lithium disilicate blank whose main crystalline phase is lithium disilicate; and a processing step of processing the lithium disilicate blank by machining. 2. The method for producing a dental prosthesis according to claim 1 , wherein the machining is a cutting work. 3. A method for producing a lithium disilicate blank for a dental prosthesis, the blank to be machined into a shape of a dental prosthesis, the method comprising: a melting step of melting a material comprising no less than 60.0 mass % and no more than 80.0 mass % of SiO 2 , no less than 10.0 mass % and no more than 20.0 mass % of Li 2 O, and no less than 5.1 mass % and no more than 10.0 mass % of Al 2 O 3 , and no less than 0.1 mass % and no more than 10.0 mass % of ZrO 2 ; a glass blank production step of cooling to solidify the molten material to obtain a glass blank; and a lithium disilicate blank production step of heating the glass blank to obtain a lithium disilicate blank whose main crystalline phase is lithium disilicate. 4. The method for producing a dental prosthesis according to claim 1 , wherein the material comprises no less than 3.1 mass %© and no more than 10.0 mass % of ZrO 2 . 5. The method for producing a lithium disilicate blank for a dental prosthesis according to claim 3 , wherein the material comprises no less than 3.1 mass % and no more than 10.0 mass % of ZrO 2 . 6. A lithium disilicate blank for a dental prosthesis, wherein the lithium disilicate blank comprises no less than 60.0 mass % and no more than 80.0 mass % of SiO 2 , no less than 10.0 mass % and no more than 20.0 mass % of Li 2 O, no less than 5.1 mass % and no more than 10.0 mass % of Al 2 O 3 , and no less than 3.1 mass % and no more than 10.0 mass % of ZrO 2 .
