Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

A multimedia commerce service processing method includes the steps of receiving a signal for selecting a first product provided by the multimedia commerce service, detecting body size information of a user from login information of an account of the user who uses the multimedia commerce service, generating a first avatar graphic image including the detected body size information of the user and transmitting a signal for outputting an image of the first product in a specific area of the first avatar graphic image to a display device. A multimedia commerce service processing apparatus includes a receiving module configured to sense a signal, a communication module configured to transmit and receive data, a storage module configured to store login information of an account of a user and a controller configured to control operation of the multimedia commerce service processing apparatus.

What is claimed is: 1. A multimedia commerce service processing method comprising: receiving, via a receiving module, a first signal for selecting a first product provided by the multimedia commerce service from a remote controller; transmitting, via a communication module, a second signal for capturing a body of a user and the remote controller using a camera of a display device to the display device; receiving, via the communication module, an image of the body of the user and an image of the remote controller from the display device; calculating, via a controller, a ratio of the body of the user to the remote controller using the image of the body of the user and the image of the remote controller; calculating, via the controller, a body size of the user using the calculated ratio and pre-stored size data of the remote controller; generating, via the controller, a first avatar graphic image based on the calculated body size information of the user; and transmitting, via the communication module, a third signal for outputting an image of the first product in a specific area of the first avatar graphic image to the display device. 2. The multimedia commerce service processing method according to claim 1 , wherein the first avatar graphic image is a three-dimensional (3D) image. 3. The multimedia commerce service processing method according to claim 1 , wherein the first avatar graphic image includes a graphical user interface (GUI) for changing product information of the first product. 4. The multimedia commerce service processing method according to claim 3 , wherein the product information of the first product in the GUI is changed, when a fourth signal for changing product information of the first product is received through the communication module. 5. The multimedia commerce service processing method according to claim 1 , wherein the first avatar graphic image includes a payment graphical user interface (GUI), wherein the payment GUI is a user interface for selecting the image of the product in the specific area of the first avatar graphic image to perform a payment process. 6. The multimedia commerce service processing method according to claim 1 , further comprising: receiving, via the communication module, a fifth signal for selecting a second product provided by the multimedia commerce service; generating, via the controller, a second avatar graphic image including the calculated body size information of the user; and transmitting, via the communication module, a sixth signal for outputting an image of the second product in a specific area of the second avatar graphic image to the display device. 7. The multimedia commerce service processing method according to claim 6 , wherein the first avatar graphic image and the second avatar graphic image are outputted on a screen together.
