The invention relates to the compounds of formula I and formula II or its pharmaceutical acceptable salts, as well as polymorphs, solvates, enantiomers, stereoisomers and hydrates thereof. The pharmaceutical compositions comprising an effective amount of compounds of formula I or formula II; and methods for treating or preventing inflammation and lipid disorders may be formulated for oral, buccal, rectal, topical, transdermal, transmucosal, intravenous, parenteral administration, syrup, or injection. Such compositions may be used to treatment of hypertriglyceridemia, steatohepatitis, cystinosis and inflammatory diseases.

The invention claimed is: 1. A compound represented by: and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, hydrates, solvates, enantiomers, and stereoisomers thereof, wherein: R 2 represents and wherein each a is independently 2, 3, or 7; and wherein each b is independently 3, 5, or 6. 2. A compound represented by: and pharmaceutically acceptable salts, hydrates, solvates, enantiomers, and stereoisomers thereof, wherein: R 2 represents and wherein each b is independently 3, 5 or 6; wherein each e is independently 1, 2 or 6; and wherein each c and d are each independently H, D, —OH, —OD, C 1 -C 6 -alkyl, —NH 2 or —COCH 3 . 3. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of claim 1 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 4. A pharmaceutical composition comprising a compound of claim 2 and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 5. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 3 , further comprising a molecular conjugate of (R)-2,4-dihydroxy-N-(3-((2-mercaptoethyl)amino)-3-oxopropyl)-3,3-dimethylbutanamide and carboxylic acid compounds selected from a group consisting of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid. 6. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 5 , wherein the carboxylic acid compound is eicosapentaenoic acid. 7. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 5 , wherein the carboxylic acid compound is docosahexaenoic acid. 8. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 4 , further comprising a molecular conjugate of (R)-2,4-dihydroxy-N-(3-((2-mercaptoethyl)amino)-3-oxopropyl)-3,3-dimethylbutanamide carboxylic acid compounds selected from a group consisting of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid. 9. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 8 , wherein the carboxylic acid compound is eicosapentaenoic acid. 10. The pharmaceutical composition of claim 8 , wherein the carboxylic acid compound is docosahexaenoic acid.
