What is claimed is: 1. A personal cleansing composition comprising: (a) from 0.01% to 5% by weight of zinc pyrithione; (b) from 0.01% to 10% by weight of particles of a metal-pyridine oxide complex, wherein the metal in the complex is iron or copper; (c) from 20% to 95% by weight of at least one surfactant, and (d) a sterically hindered phenol reducing agent; wherein said personal cleansing composition has a pH value ranging from 9.9 to 10.7 when dispersed in a 1 wt % aqueous solution. 2. The personal cleansing composition of claim 1 , wherein the reducing agent is pentaerythrityl tetra-di-t-butyl hydroxyhydrocinnamate. 3. The personal cleansing composition of claim 1 , which is in the form of a bar soap. 4. The personal cleansing composition of claim 1 , wherein the surfactant comprises: (a) from 0% to 95% fatty acid soap; (b) from 0% to 50% synthetic surfactant; or (c) mixtures thereof.
