There are provided a protective film for a polarizing plate, wherein the protective film comprises a stretched film comprising a (meth)acryl-based resin and having an absolute value of a planar orientation coefficient ΔP of less than or equal to 2.5×10 −4 , and a polarizing plate comprising a polarizing film, and the protective film for a polarizing plate laminated on at least one surface of the polarizing film via an adhesive layer. The stretched film can be, for example, a biaxially stretched film.

What is claimed is: 1. A protective film for a polarizing plate, wherein the protective film comprises a monolayer stretched film comprising a (meth)acryl-based resin and having an absolute value of a planar orientation coefficient ΔP of less than or equal to 2.5×10 −4 . 2. The protective film for a polarizing plate according to claim 1 , wherein the stretched film comprises rubber particles. 3. The protective film for a polarizing plate according to claim 1 , wherein the stretched film is a biaxially stretched film. 4. The protective film for a polarizing plate according to claim 1 , wherein the stretched film has a thickness of 10 to 150 μm. 5. The protective film for a polarizing plate according to claim 1 , further comprising a surface-treatment layer laminated on the stretched film. 6. The protective film for a polarizing plate according to claim 1 , wherein the stretched film has an thickness-directional phase retardation value R th in a range of −35 to 35 nm. 7. The protective film for a polarizing plate according to claim 1 , wherein the stretched film has an in-plane phase retardation value R 0 in a range of 0 to 15 nm. 8. A polarizing plate comprising: a polarizing film, and the protective film for a polarizing plate according to claim 1 laminated on at least one surface of the polarizing film via an adhesive layer. 9. A polarizing plate according to claim 8 , wherein the adhesive layer comprises a cured product of at least one component selected from a group consisting of an epoxy compound, an oxetane compound and a (meth)acryl-based compound.
