What is claimed is: 1. A flashlight, comprising: a housing having a first set of threads; a head assembly including a spiral nut that includes a spiral tab that engages the first set of threads when the head assembly is coupled to the housing; an LED light source module fixedly held by a heat sink fixedly held by the housing; a power source held within the housing; and a switch assembly; wherein the light provided by the LED light source module may be varied by rotating the head assembly relative to the housing while the heat sink, the switch assembly and the power source remain stationary. 2. The flashlight of claim 1 , wherein the housing is a barrel and the heat sink is press fit into a forward portion of the barrel. 3. The flashlight of claim 1 , wherein the light provided by the LED light source may be varied between a first adjustment and a second adjustment by rotating the head assembly relative to the housing and one of the first and second adjustments is a spot setting while another of the first and second adjustments is a flood setting. 4. The flashlight of claim 3 , further comprising a reflector held in the head assembly. 5. The flashlight of claim 4 , wherein the spiral nut has a front surface having a first plurality of teeth that engage a second plurality of teeth formed in the reflector. 6. The flashlight of claim 5 , further comprising a face cap assembly. 7. The flashlight of claim 6 , wherein when the face cap assembly is brought into contact with a head of the head assembly, the first plurality of teeth engage the second plurality of teeth formed in the reflector. 8. A flashlight, comprising: a housing having a first set of threads; a head assembly including a spiral nut that includes means for engaging the first set of threads when the head assembly is coupled to the housing; an LED light source module fixedly held by a heat sink fixedly held by the housing; a power source held within the housing; and a switch assembly; wherein the light provided by the LED light source module may be varied by rotating the head assembly relative to the housing while the heat sink, the switch assembly and the power source remain stationary. 9. A flashlight, comprising: a housing having a first set of threads; an LED light source module fixedly held by the housing; a power source held within the housing; and a switch assembly; and a head assembly, comprising: a head; a reflector; and a spiral nut that includes means for engaging the first set of threads when the head assembly is coupled to the housing; wherein light provided by the LED light source module may be varied by rotating the head assembly relative to the housing while the LED light source remains stationary.
