A sheet processing apparatus is configured to press a fold line that is formed on a sheet. The sheet processing apparatus includes: a sheet supporting unit configured to support the sheet in a pressing direction for pressing the fold line; a pressing unit configured to press the fold line that is formed on the sheet that is supported by the sheet supporting unit; and a pressing-force generating unit configured to generate a pressing force for pressing the sheet supporting unit against the pressing unit at a central part in a direction along which the fold line is formed.

What is claimed is: 1. A sheet processing apparatus configured to press a fold line that is formed on a sheet, the sheet processing apparatus comprising: a sheet supporting plate configured to support the sheet in a pressing direction for pressing the fold line; a pressing roller configured to press the fold line that is formed on the sheet that is supported by the sheet supporting plate; and a pressing-force generating device included in the pressing roller, and configured to generate a pressing force for pressing the sheet supporting plate against the pressing roller at a central part in a direction along which the fold line is formed, wherein the sheet supporting plate is pressed by an elastic body at a central part of the sheet supporting plate. 2. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the pressing-force generating device is configured to generate the pressing force while the fold line is pressed such that a direction in which the generated pressing force acts is perpendicular to a direction of a tangent line at a contact point between the pressing roller and the sheet. 3. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the pressing-force generating device is configured to generate the pressing force while the fold line is pressed such that a direction in which the generated pressing force acts passes through a contact point between the pressing roller and the sheet. 4. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the pressing roller is rotatable about a rotation axis that is in a direction parallel to the direction along which the fold line is formed. 5. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , further comprising a restrictor configured to restrict a movement of the sheet supporting plate in the pressing direction such that a distance between the sheet supporting plate and the pressing roller in the pressing direction does not become less than a set distance. 6. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein the restrictor is configured to restrict a movement of the sheet supporting plate in the pressing direction at both ends of the sheet supporting plate in the direction along which the fold line is formed. 7. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein the restrictor is configured to restrict a movement of the sheet supporting plate in the pressing direction at a location of the sheet supporting plate opposite to the rotation axis in a direction in which the sheet is conveyed and at a central part of the sheet supporting plate in the direction along which the fold line is formed. 8. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the pressing roller is configured to rotate about a rotation axis that is in a direction parallel to the direction along which the fold line is formed, thereby pressing the fold line that is formed on the sheet that is supported by the sheet supporting plate, and the sheet supporting plate is formed into an arc shape corresponding to a trajectory that is formed by an outer diameter of the pressing roller in accordance with a rotation of the pressing roller. 9. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the pressing-force generating device is configured to generate the pressing force at multiple points or an entirety of a part with an arc shape that is formed on the sheet supporting plate. 10. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the pressing-force generating device is configured to generate the pressing force at multiple points of the sheet supporting plate in the direction along which the fold line is formed. 11. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the sheet supporting plate is divided into multiple pieces in the direction along which the fold line is formed, and the pressing-force generating device is configured to generate the pressing force individually for each of the divided pieces of the sheet supporting plate. 12. An image forming system comprising: an image forming apparatus configured to perform an image formation output on the sheet; a folding processing apparatus configured to perform a folding operation on the sheet on which an image is formed by the image forming apparatus, thereby forming a fold line on the sheet; and the sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 configured to press the fold line that is formed by the folding processing apparatus. 13. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the pressing-force generating device is arranged along a main scanning direction in a helical configuration. 14. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 13 , wherein the pressing-force generating device is arranged at an angle difference from a rotary shaft of the pressing roller on a peripheral surface of the pressing roller. 15. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the pressing-force generating device is arranged along a main scanning direction in a V-shape that is symmetrical about the central part of the pressing roller. 16. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the sheet supporting plate is divided into multiple pieces in the direction along which the fold line is formed, and each of the divided pieces of the sheet supporting plate can apply a pressing force to a fold line individually. 17. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the pressing roller includes a protruding pressing-force transmission section on a peripheral surface of the pressing roller. 18. The sheet processing apparatus according to claim 17 , wherein the pressing-force transmission section is arranged in a helical fashion with a certain angle difference from a rotary shaft of the pressing roller.
