A positive electrode composition for a rechargeable lithium battery includes a positive active material, a spherically shaped conductive material, and a sheet-shaped conductive material. The spherically shaped conductive material is included in an amount of about 1.1 to about 10 parts by weight based on 1 part by weight of the sheet-shaped conductive material. A positive electrode includes the positive electrode composition and a rechargeable lithium battery includes the positive electrode.

What is claimed is: 1. A positive electrode composition for a rechargeable lithium battery, comprising: a positive active material; a sheet-shaped conductive material; and a spherically shaped conductive material, which is included in an amount of about 1.1 to about 10 parts by weight based on 1 part by weight of the sheet-shaped conductive material, wherein the sheet-shaped conductive material comprises sheet-shaped graphite, a flake-shaped carbon, or combination thereof, and wherein the spherically shaped conductive material comprises carbon black, a conductive aerogel, or a combination thereof. 2. The positive electrode composition of claim 1 , wherein the spherically shaped conductive material is included in an amount of about 1 to about 15wt % by weight based on a total weight of the positive electrode composition. 3. The positive electrode composition of claim 1 , wherein the sheet-shaped conductive material is included in an amount of about 0.1 to about 5 wt % by weight based on a total weight of the positive electrode composition. 4. The positive electrode composition of claim 1 , wherein the spherically shaped conductive material has an average particle diameter of about 1 nm to about 500 nm. 5. The positive electrode composition of claim 1 , wherein the sheet-shaped conductive material has a long diameter of about 4 μm to about 7 μm. 6. The positive electrode composition of claim 1 , wherein the positive electrode composition further comprises a binder. 7. The positive electrode composition of claim 1 , wherein the positive active material comprises a lithium manganese-based oxide, a lithium nickel-based oxide, a lithium cobalt-based oxide, a lithium nickel manganese-based oxide, a lithium nickel cobalt-based oxide, a lithium nickel cobalt manganese-based oxide, a lithium nickel cobalt aluminum-based oxide, a lithium iron phosphate-based compound, a lithium manganese phosphate-based compound, a lithium cobalt phosphate-based compound, a lithium vanadium phosphate-based compound, or a combination thereof. 8. A positive electrode for a rechargeable lithium battery, comprising the positive electrode composition of claim 1 . 9. The positive electrode of claim 8 , wherein the positive electrode has a loading level of about 33 to about 45 mg/cm 2 . 10. A rechargeable lithium battery, comprising the positive electrode of claim 8 ; a negative electrode; and an electrolyte solution. 11. The rechargeable lithium battery of claim 10 , wherein the rechargeable lithium battery has a current density of about 2 to about 8 mA/cm 2 .
