A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, comprising: a (meth)acryl-based polymer (A); and an ionic compound (B) comprising an anion component and a cation component, wherein the (meth)acryl-based polymer (A) is a hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acryl-based polymer (A) containing a monomer unit derived from a hydroxyl group-containing monomer, and the anion component has an organic group and three or more carbon atoms. The anion component is preferably at least one of anion components represented by the following formula (1): (C n F 2n+1 SO 2 ) 2 N −   (1) wherein n is an integer of 3 to 10; the following formula (2): CF 2 (C m F 2m SO 2 ) 2 N −   (2) wherein m is an integer of 2 to 10; and the following formula (3): − O 3 S(CF 2 ) l SO 3 −   (3) wherein l is an integer of 3 to 10.

The invention claimed is: 1. A pressure-sensitive adhesive composition, comprising: a (meth)acryl-based polymer (A); and an ionic compound (B) comprising an anion component and a cation component, wherein the (meth)acryl-based polymer (A) is a hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acryl-based polymer (A) containing a monomer unit derived from a hydroxyl group-containing monomer, and the anion component is at least one of anion components represented by the following formula (1): (C n F 2n+1 SO 2 ) 2 N −   (1) wherein n is an integer of 3 to 10; the following formula (2): CF 2 (C m F 2m SO 2 ) 2 N −   (2) wherein m is an integer of 2 to 10; and the following formula (3): − O 3 S(CF 2 ) l SO 3 −   (3) wherein l is an integer of 3 to 10, wherein the cation component is a lithium cation component or a pyridinium cation component. 2. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , wherein the cation component of the ionic compound (B) is a lithium cation. 3. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , wherein the anion component of the ionic compound (B) is at least one of a bis(heptafluoropropanesulfonyl)imide anion, a bis(nonafluorobutanesulfonyl)imide anion, a cyclo-hexafluoropropane-1,3-bis(sulfonyl)imide anion, and a hexafluoropropane-1,3-disulfonate anion. 4. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , which comprises 0.001 to 10 parts by weight of the ionic compound (B) based on 100 parts by weight of the hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acryl-based polymer (A). 5. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , wherein the hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acryl-based polymer (A) contains a monomer unit derived from a carboxyl group-containing monomer. 6. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , further comprising a crosslinking agent (C). 7. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 6 , which comprises 0.01 to 20 parts by weight of the crosslinking agent (C) based on 100 parts by weight of the hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acryl-based polymer (A). 8. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 6 , wherein the crosslinking agent (C) is at least one of an isocyanate compound and a peroxide. 9. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , further comprising 0.001 to 5 parts by weight of a silane coupling agent (D) based on 100 parts by weight of the hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acryl-based polymer (A). 10. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , further comprising 0.001 to 10 parts by weight of a polyether-modified silicone (E) based on 100 parts by weight of the hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acryl-based polymer (A). 11. The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 , wherein the hydroxyl group-containing (meth)acryl-based polymer (A) has a weight average molecular weight of 500,000 to 3,000,000. 12. A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer comprising a product made from the pressure-sensitive adhesive composition according to claim 1 . 13. A pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-attached polarizing film comprising at least a polarizing film and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer according to claim 12 . 14. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-attached polarizing film according to claim 13 , further comprising an adhesion-facilitating layer between the polarizing film and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer. 15. An image display device comprising at least one piece of the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer-attached polarizing film according to claim 13 .
