A centrifugal blower apparatus includes a scroll-shaped housing with first and second air inlets which open to a blower chamber that is in fluid communication with an air outlet. The blower includes a motor to drive impellers, wherein the motor is secured to a frame coupled within the housing in a manner to substantially enhance aerodynamic performance of the blower.

What is claimed is: 1. A centrifugal blower apparatus, comprising: a housing having air inlets formed in opposing scroll-shaped sides of said housing and having an air outlet formed in an open end of said scroll-shaped sides of said housing, said air inlets open to a blower chamber within said housing, said blower housing in fluid communication with said air inlets and said air outlet, said housing further having an interior divided by a continuous frame; and an operating system having: (a) said continuous frame arranged in said blower chamber between said scroll-shaped sides, said continuous frame having a central hub portion, wherein said central hub portion includes a bearing housing; (b) impellers for motivating air between said air inlets and said air outlet, said impellers coupled to a central shaft extending through said bearing housing, said central shaft being rotatable about bearings contained in said bearing housing of said central hub of said continuous frame; and (c) a motor for rotating said impellers in a circumferential direction about a blower chamber axis, said motor having a rotor coupled to at least one of said impellers and a stator arranged radially outwardly about said rotor, wherein said stator is engaged to said continuous frame within said blower chamber and said rotor is coupled to said continuous frame by way of said impellers; said operating system coupled within said housing at coupling locations that are away from said inlets; and wherein an inner circumference of said stator is arranged concentrically radially about said outer circumference of said rotor wherein an inner diameter of said stator is slightly larger than said outer diameter of said rotor element. 2. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 1 , wherein said air inlets are substantially axially aligned along said blower chamber axis. 3. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 1 , wherein said continuous frame is disposed at an interior mid portion of said housing. 4. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said stator is concentrically arranged about said rotor. 5. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 4 wherein an inner diameter of said stator is substantially equal to a first diameter of said impellers. 6. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 1 , wherein said continuous frame is modified to include apertures formed in a portion of said continuous frame that are radially exterior to an outer diameter of said stator. 7. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 6 wherein said impellers are rotatably driven about said blower chamber axis by said rotor. 8. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 6 wherein said impellers include forward-curved impeller blades. 9. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 1 wherein said motor is a brushless, direct-current electromagnetic motor. 10. A centrifugal blower apparatus, comprising: a housing having air inlets formed in opposing scroll-shaped sides of said housing and having an air outlet formed in an open end of said scroll-shaped sides of said housing, said air inlets open to a blower chamber within said housing, said blower chamber in fluid communication with said air inlets and said air outlet, said housing further having an interior divided by a continuous frame disposed at an interior mid-portion of said housing; and an operating system having: (a) said continuous frame arranged in said blower chamber between said scroll-shaped sides; (b) impellers for motivating air between said air inlets and said air outlet, each said impellers having a first diameter; and (c) a motor for rotating said impellers in a circumaxial direction about a blower chamber axis, said motor having a rotor coupled to at least one of said impellers and a stator arranged radially outwardly about said rotor, wherein said stator is secured to said continuous frame within said blower chamber; wherein said impellers are secured to a shaft that is rotatably driven about said blower chamber axis by said rotor and said shaft extends through a bearing housing, wherein said shaft is further coupled to bearings within said bearing housing; said operating system coupled within said housing at coupling locations that are away from said inlets; and wherein an inner circumference of said stator is arranged concentrically radially about said outer circumference of said rotor wherein an inner diameter of said stator is slightly larger than said outer diameter of said rotor element. 11. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 10 , wherein said air inlets are substantially axially aligned along said blower chamber axis. 12. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 10 wherein said stator is concentrically arranged about said rotor. 13. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 12 wherein an inner diameter of said stator is substantially equal to a first diameter of said impellers. 14. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 10 , wherein said continuous frame is modified to include apertures formed in a portion of said frame radially exterior to an outer diameter of said stator. 15. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 14 wherein said impellers include forward-curved impeller blades. 16. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 10 wherein said motor is a brushless, direct-current electromagnetic motor. 17. A centrifugal blower apparatus as in claim 10 wherein an outer diameter of said rotor is substantially equal to said first diameter of said impellers. 18. A centrifugal blower, comprising: a housing having first and second scroll-shaped sides separated by a main body portion defining an air outlet, said first side having a first air inlet, and said second side having a second air inlet wherein said first and second air inlets open to a blower chamber that is in fluid communication with said air outlet, said housing further having a mid-portion axially substantially mid-way between said first and second sides; a continuous frame positioned within the mid-portion of said housing to internally support said housing, wherein said continuous frame further divides said blower chamber and isolates said first inlet from said second inlet; said continuous frame including a bearing housing having bearings aligned along a blower axis of said blower chamber; a first impeller aligned within said blower chamber adjacent said first inlet, said first impeller including spaced apart concentric blades defining an outer diameter of said first impeller; a second impeller aligned within said blower chamber adjacent said second inlet, said second impeller including spaced apart concentric blades defining an outer diameter of said second impeller; a shaft having a first end fixed to said first impeller and a second end fixed to said second impeller, wherein said shaft extends through said bearing housing and said shaft is coupled to said bearings; an annular rotor having a rotor core and a rotor element, wherein said rotor core extends from said first impeller and wherein said rotor element has an outer circumference having a diameter substantially equal to said outer diameter of said first impeller; and an annular stator fixed to said continuous frame wherein an inner circumference of said annular stator is arranged concentrically radially about said outer circumference of said annular rotor wherein an inner diameter of said annular stator is slightly larger than said outer diameter of said rotor element. 19.
