A recombinant host cell comprising a polynucleotide encoding a polypeptide having beta-glucosidase activity, beta-xylosidase activity, or beta-glucosidase and beta-xylosidase activity, wherein (a) the polypeptide has at least 90% sequence identity to amino acids 23 to 950 of SEQ ID NO: 2, amino acids 23 to 868 of SEQ ID NO: 4, amino acids 20 to 860 of SEQ ID NO: 6, or amino acids 20 to 737 of SEQ ID NO: 8 or the polypeptide is a fragment of amino acids 23 to 950 of SEQ ID NO: 2, amino acids 23 to 868 of SEQ ID NO: 4, amino acids 20 to 860 of SEQ ID NO: 6, or amino acids 20 to 737 of SEQ ID NO: 8, and (b) the polynucleotide is operably linked to one or more control sequences that direct the production of the polypeptide. 2. A method of producing a polypeptide having beta-glucosidase activity, beta-xylosidase activity, or beta-glucosidase and beta-xylosidase activity, comprising: (a) cultivating the host cell of claim 1 under conditions conducive for production of the polypeptide; and (b) recovering the polypeptide. 3. The method of claim 2 , wherein the polypeptide has at least 90% sequence identity to amino acids 23 to 950 of SEQ ID NO: 2. 4. The method of claim 2 , wherein the polypeptide has at least 95% sequence identity to amino acids 23 to 950 of SEQ ID NO: 2. 5. The method of claim 2 , wherein the polypeptide has at least 97% sequence identity to amino acids 23 to 950 of SEQ ID NO: 2. 6. The method of claim 2 , wherein the polypeptide comprises amino acids 23 to 950 of SEQ ID NO: 2. 7. The method of claim 2 , wherein the polypeptide has at least 90% sequence identity to amino acids 23 to 868 of SEQ ID NO: 4. 8. The method of claim 2 , wherein the polypeptide has at least 95% sequence identity to amino acids 23 to 868 of SEQ ID NO: 4. 9. The method of claim 2 , wherein the polypeptide has at least 97% sequence identity to amino acids 23 to 868 of SEQ ID NO: 4. 10. The method of claim 2 , wherein the polypeptide comprises amino acids 23 to 868 of SEQ ID NO: 4. 11. The method of claim 2 , wherein the polypeptide has at least 90% sequence identity to amino acids 20 to 860 of SEQ ID NO: 6. 12.
