In a refrigerator including a sliding door configured to open and close a storage chamber, a storage basket provided on a rear portion of the sliding door, and a support frame configured to support the sliding door and the storage basket, sidewalls of the storage basket may be formed so as to protrude outwardly except a lower portion in which the support frame is disposed between an inner case and the sidewalls, thereby increasing a storage space of the storage basket. In addition, a front protrusion, an auxiliary protrusion, and a rear protrusion are formed in an upper portion of the storage basket, and therefore a relative position of an auxiliary basket to the storage basket may be limited, and the auxiliary basket may be drawn into and out in conjunction with drawn-in and-out movements of the storage basket.

What is claimed is: 1. A refrigerator comprising: a main body including an inner case and an outer case; a storage chamber having an opened front portion and provided in the inner case; a sliding door for opening or closing the opened front portion of the storage chamber; a first rail unit movably supporting the sliding door with respect to the main body and including a rack gear; a second rail unit movably supporting the sliding door with respect to the main body and including a rack gear; a connection bar extending between the first and second rail units; a first pinion gear coupled to the connection bar and engaged with the rack gear of the first rail unit; a second pinion gear coupled to the connection bar and engaged with the rack gear of the second rail unit; a rear reinforcing frame extending between a rear portion of the first rail unit and a rear portion of the second rail unit to prevent distortion of the first and second rail units; a storage basket providing a storage space and configured to be drawn into or out of the storage chamber while being moved together with the sliding door, and supported by the first and second rail units; and an auxiliary basket supported by the storage basket, configured to be drawn into or out on an upper portion of the storage basket, and having a roller to perform a rolling motion, wherein the storage basket has a sidewall, and includes: a sidewall front protrusion on an upper portion of the sidewall, the sidewall front protrusion protruding upward, a sidewall rear protrusion on the upper portion of the sidewall, the sidewall rear protrusion protruding upward, a sidewall roller support surface on the upper portion of the sidewall, the sidewall roller support surface extending from the sidewall front protrusion to the sidewall rear protrusion to support the roller with the sidewall front protrusion restricting forward movement of the roller and the sidewall rear protrusion restricting backward movement of the roller, and a sidewall roller support guide extending along a side of the sidewall roller support surface at an inner side of the sidewall defining a boundary of the storage space, for a distance which is at least one-half a distance from the sidewall front protrusion to the sidewall rear protrusion and extending upward from the sidewall roller support surface to guide the roller by restricting a lateral movement of the roller, and the first rail unit has an opening, the storage basket has a protrusion, and the protrusion of the storage basket is inserted into the opening to couple the storage basket to the first rail unit. 2. The refrigerator according to claim 1 , wherein a height of the sidewall front protrusion is the same as a height of the sidewall roller support guide. 3. The refrigerator according to claim 1 , wherein the roller is positioned on a sidewall of the auxiliary basket near a bottom surface of the auxiliary basket. 4. The refrigerator according to claim 1 , wherein a lateral side of the roller contacts a lateral side of the sidewall roller support guide. 5. The refrigerator of claim 1 , wherein each of the first and second rail unit includes: a second cover rail coupled to the sliding door and supporting the storage basket, a first cover rail coupled to the inner case, and first, second and third sliding rails, wherein the rack gear of the respective rail unit is integrally formed with the first cover rail, the first sliding rail is coupled to the first cover rail, the third sliding rail is coupled to the second cover rail, the second sliding rail is movably coupled to the first sliding rail and the third sliding rail, the first pinion gear is coupled to the third sliding rail of the first rail unit, and the second pinion gear is coupled to the third sliding rail of the second rail unit. 6. The refrigerator according to claim 5 , wherein the rear reinforcing frame extends between a rear portion of the second cover rail of the first rail unit and a rear portion of the second cover rail of the second rail unit.
