A wire harness configured to protect the group of lead wires having a large curve such that there is no risk of the binding tape-type protection portion exposing the group of lead wires is provided. The wire harness includes a group of lead wires and a binding tape-type protection portion that covers the group of lead wires. The binding tape-type protection portion is formed by overlapping a binding tape member around the group of lead wires. The binding tape member includes a tape member body that is made of a synthetic resin and is molded such that the cross-sectional shape orthogonal to the lengthwise direction is a four-triangle wave shape, and an adhesive layer formed on one surface of the tape member body.

The invention claimed is: 1. A wire harness comprising: a group of lead wires; and a binding tape-type protection portion that covers the group of lead wires, wherein the binding tape-type protection portion is formed by overlap wrapping a binding tape member around the group of lead wires, the binding tape member being constituted by a tape member body that is made of a synthetic resin and is molded such that a cross-sectional shape orthogonal to a lengthwise direction is a triangular wave shape including two or more triangles, and an adhesive layer formed on one surface of the tape member body. 2. The wire harness according to claim 1 , wherein the adhesive layer is formed over the entire width of an inner surface side of the tape member body. 3. The wire harness according to claim 1 , wherein a color of the tape member body is different than a color provided on an inclined surface that is demarcated by a width-direction central portion on a side opposite to the adhesive layer of the tape member body and that is hidden by a half of the tape member body that is layered on a top side in the overlap wrapping. 4. The wire harness according to claim 1 , wherein a peak forming the triangular wave shape that is the cross-sectional shape of the tape member body is formed by a short inclined surface having a steep inclination angle and a long inclined surface having a gentle inclination angle, and the short inclined surface having a steep inclination angle is located on a rearward side in an overlap wrapping progression direction. 5. The wire harness according to claim 2 , wherein a color of the tape member body is different than a color provided on an inclined surface that is demarcated by a width-direction central portion on a side opposite to the adhesive layer of the tape member body and that is hidden by a half of the tape member body that is layered on a top side in the overlap wrapping. 6. The wire harness according to claim 2 wherein a peak forming the triangular wave shape that is the cross-sectional shape of the tape member body is formed by a short inclined surface having a steep inclination angle and a long inclined surface having a gentle inclination angle, and the short inclined surface having a steep inclination angle is located on a rearward side in an overlap wrapping progression direction. 7. The wire harness according to claim 3 , wherein a peak forming the triangular wave shape that is the cross-sectional shape of the tape member body is formed by a short inclined surface having a steep inclination angle and a long inclined surface having a gentle inclination angle, and the short inclined surface having a steep inclination angle is located on a rearward side in an overlap wrapping progression direction.
