A light-emitting device is disclosed that includes a light-emitting stack comprising a first surface; a patterned dielectric layer formed on the first surface, comprising a first portion and a second portion substantially surrounding the first portion and having substantially the same thickness with that of the first portion; a first reflective electrode covering the first portion of the patterned dielectric layer; and a barrier layer covering the first reflective electrode and the second portion of the patterned dielectric layer.

What is claimed is: 1. A light-emitting device, comprising: a light-emitting stack comprising a first surface, a roughened surface, and a side wall connecting the first surface and the roughened surface; an electrode structure formed on the roughened surface of the light-emitting stack; a patterned dielectric layer formed on the first surface of the light-emitting stack, comprising a first portion and a second portion substantially surrounding the first portion, the first portion comprising a first thickness, and the second portion comprising a second thickness substantially the same as the first thickness; a first reflective electrode covering the first portion of the patterned dielectric layer and directly contacting the first surface of the light-emitting stack; a barrier layer covering the first reflective electrode and the second portion of the patterned dielectric layer; and a passivation layer covering the second portion of the patterned dielectric layer, the sidewall of the light-emitting stack, and the roughened surface of the light-emitting stack which is not occupied by the electrode structure, wherein the electrode structure is surrounded by the passivation layer, the passivation layer contacts an edge of the electrode structure and terminates at the edge of the electrode structure, and an interface between the electrode structure and the roughened surface of the light-emitting stack is devoid of the passivation layer. 2. The light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the first portion of the patterned dielectric layer comprises the same material with that of the second portion. 3. The light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the second portion of the patterned dielectric layer is projected from the side wall of the light-emitting stack and is connected to the first passivation layer. 4. The light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the second portion of the patterned dielectric layer is between the barrier layer and the passivation layer. 5. The light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the electrode structure comprises a first pattern corresponding to that of the first portion of the patterned dielectric layer. 6. The light-emitting device of claim 5 , wherein the electrode structure comprises an electrode pad and an extensive-branch like electrode connected to the electrode pad, and the second portion of the patterned dielectric layer overlaps the electrode pad and the extensive-branch like electrode. 7. The light-emitting device of claim 6 , wherein the second portion comprises a width wider than that of the extensive-branch like electrode at which overlapping the extensive-branch like electrode. 8. The light-emitting device of claim 6 , wherein the area of the second portion of the patterned dielectric layer overlapping the electrode pad corresponds to a pattern of the electrode pad. 9. The light-emitting device of claim 5 , wherein contact areas of the electrode structure contacting with the light-emitting stack and contact areas of the first reflective electrode contacting with the light-emitting stack do not overlap with each other in a vertical direction. 10. The light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the passivation layer comprises a first passivation layer and a second passivation layer covering the first passivation layer and the roughened surface of the light-emitting stack, wherein the first passivation layer comprises different material from that of the second passivation layer. 11. The light-emitting device of claim 10 , wherein the first passivation layer comprises SiN x , and the second passivation layer comprises SiO 2 . 12. The light-emitting device of claim 10 , wherein the patterned dielectric layer comprises SiO 2 or Al 2 O 3 , and the first passivation layer comprises SiN x . 13. The light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the barrier layer does not contact the first surface of the light-emitting stack. 14. The light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the first reflective electrode is devoid of covering the second portion of the patterned dielectric layer, and the first reflective electrode and the second portion of the patterned dielectric layer are separated by a gap. 15. The light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the light-emitting stack comprises a p-type semiconductor layer on which the first surface is formed, an active layer formed on the p-type semiconductor layer, and an n-type semiconductor layer formed on the active layer. 16. The light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein all of the interface between the electrode structure and the roughened surface of the light-emitting stack is devoid of the passivation layer. 17. The light-emitting device of claim 16 , further comprising a connection layer and a permanent substrate, wherein the connection layer is between the barrier layer and the permanent substrate. 18. The light-emitting device of claim 1 , wherein the first reflective electrode comprises Ag. 19. A light-emitting device, comprising: a light-emitting stack comprising a first surface, a second surface, and a side wall connecting the first surface and the second surface; an electrode structure comprising an electrode pad and a plurality of extension electrodes formed on the second surface of the light-emitting stack; a patterned dielectric layer formed on the first surface of the light-emitting stack, comprising a first portion and a second portion substantially surrounding the first portion; a first reflective electrode covering the first portion of the patterned dielectric layer and directly contacting the first surface of the light-emitting stack; and a passivation layer comprising a first passivation layer and a second passivation layer, wherein the first passivation layer contacts the second portion of the patterned dielectric layer, the sidewall of the light-emitting stack, and the second surface of the light-emitting stack, the second passivation layer covers the first passivation and formed between the plurality of extension electrodes, wherein the second passivation layer contacts a sidewall of the plurality of extension electrodes. 20. A light-emitting device, comprising: a light-emitting stack comprising a first surface, a second surface, and a side wall connecting the first surface and the second surface; an electrode structure comprising an electrode pad and a plurality of extension electrodes formed on the second surface of the light-emitting stack; a patterned dielectric layer formed on the first surface of the light-emitting stack, comprising a first portion and a second portion substantially surrounding the first portion; a first reflective electrode covering the first portion of the patterned dielectric layer and directly contacting the first surface of the light-emitting stack; and a passivation layer contacting the second portion of the patterned dielectric layer, the sidewall of the light-emitting stack and the second surface of the light-emitting stack, and formed between the plurality of extension electrodes, wherein the passivation layer contacts a sidewall of the plurality of extension electrodes.
