What is claimed is: 1. A compound of formula (I): wherein Z is a leaving group. 2. The compound of claim 1 , wherein the leaving group comprises: triflate, mesylate, nonaflate, hexaflate, tosylate, nosylate, brosylate, perfluoroalkyl sulfonate, tetraphenylborate, hexafluorophosphate, trifluoroacetate, tetrafluoroborate, perchlorate, perfluoroalkylcarboxylate, nitro, azide, chloride, bromide, or iodide. 3. The compound of claim 1 , wherein the leaving group is tetramethylammonium triflate. 4. The compound of claim 1 , wherein the compound of formula (I) is: 5. A compound of formula (I): wherein Z is a leaving group comprising tetramethylammonium. 6. The compound of claim 5 , wherein the leaving group further comprises: triflate, mesylate, nonaflate, hexaflate, tosylate, nosylate, brosylate, and perfluoroalkyl sulfonate. 7. The compound of claim 5 , wherein the leaving group further comprises triflate.
