What is claimed is: 1. A vaccine composition comprising an antigen component and an adjuvant component, wherein the adjuvant component comprises an oil-in-water emulsion, wherein further an aqueous phase of said oil-in-water emulsion comprises dimethyl dioctadecyl ammonium bromide (DDA) and an alkyl-polyacrylic acid (alkyl-PAA). 2. The vaccine composition of claim 1 , wherein said oil comprises at least one oil selected from the group consisting of a mineral oil, a terpene oil, soybean oil, olive oil, and a propylene glycol derivative. 3. The vaccine composition of claim 1 , wherein the adjuvant component further comprises at least one of CpG DNA, lipopolysaccharides, and monophosphoryl lipid A. 4. The vaccine composition of claim 3 , wherein the adjuvant component comprises CpG DNA and monophosphoryl lipid A. 5. The vaccine composition of claim 1 , wherein the composition further comprises one or more emulsifiers. 6. The vaccine composition of claim 1 , wherein the antigen is a poultry vaccine antigen.
