The invention claimed is: 1. A method of treating a medical condition or disease that is treatable by the inhibition of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) prolyl-4-hydroxylase, wherein the medical condition or disease is cardiovascular diseases, cardiac insufficiency, anaemia, chronic kidney diseases or renal insufficiency, the method comprising administering to a human or animal in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of the compound Sodium 1-[6-(morpholin-4-yl)pyrimidin-4-yl]-4-(1H-1,2,3-triazol-1 -y 1 )-1H-pyrazol-5-olate corresponding to the compound of the formula (II) 2. A method of treating a medical condition or disease that is treatable by the inhibition of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) prolyl-4-hydroxylase, wherein the medical condition or disease is cardiovascular diseases, cardiac insufficiency, anaemia, chronic kidney diseases or renal insufficiency, the method comprising administering to a human or animal in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of the pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound, Sodium 1-[6-(morpholin-4-yl)pyrimidin-4-yl]-4-(1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)-1H-pyrazol-5-olate corresponding to the compound of the formula (II) in combination with an inert, non-toxic, pharmaceutically suitable auxiliary. 3. A method of treating a medical condition or disease that is treatable by the inhibition of hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) prolyl-4-hydroxylase, wherein the medical condition or disease is cardiovascular diseases, cardiac insufficiency, anaemia, chronic kidney diseases or renal insufficiency, the method comprising administering to a human or animal in need thereof a therapeutically effective amount of the pharmaceutical composition comprising the compound, Sodium 1-[6-(morpholin-4-yl)pyrimidin-4-yl]-4-(1H-1,2,3-triazol-1-yl)-1H-pyrazol-5-olate corresponding to the compound of the formula (II) in combination with a further active compound. 4. The method of claim 1 , wherein the compound of formula (II) is present in crystalline form. 5. The method of claim 2 , wherein the compound of formula (II) is present in crystalline form. 6. The method of claim 3 , wherein the compound of formula (II) is present in crystalline form. 7. The method of claim 1 , wherein the cardiovascular disease is coronary heart disease, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, stroke, arteriosclerosis, essential hypertension, pulmonary hypertension, malignant hypertension, or peripheral arterial occlusive disease.
