A wireless access control system locks or unlocks a door at a dwelling. A remote access device transmits a signal. A lock system, for locking and unlocking a door in which the lock is located, includes a lock, a processor with a memory, one or more wireless communication devices coupled to a circuit and one or more motion transfer device coupled to a drive shaft. The lock receives the signal and enables the lock to be one of locked or unlocked in response to the signal. The remote access device has a controller for generating the signal, and an accelerometer providing an acceleration signal to the controller when the accelerometer experiences an acceleration. The controller generates the signal in response to the acceleration signal.

What is claimed is: 1. A wireless access control system to lock or unlock a door at a dwelling, comprising: a remote access device transmitting a signal; a lock system for locking and unlocking a door in which the lock is located, the lock system including a lock and a bolt, a processor with a memory, an energy source coupled to a circuit that couples the energy source to the processor, one or more wireless communication devices coupled to a circuit and one or more motion sensors coupled to a drive shaft, the at least one or more motion sensors sensing position of the drive shaft to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of the lock device; and the one or more wireless communication devices configured to be in receipt of the signal, the wireless communication devices and the one or more motion sensors enable the bolt to move and the lock to be one of locked or unlocked. 2. The system of claim 1 , wherein the remote access device is a mobile device. 3. The wireless access control system of claim 1 , wherein the memory further stores an identifier associated with a respective remote access device, the lock only providing access to a predetermined remote access device having an identifier stored in the memory during a respective predetermined time period associated in the memory with the remote access device. 4. The system of claim 1 , further comprising: a proximity detector configured to determine a presence of a user upon receipt of a proximity detector input. 5. The system of claim 1 , wherein the remote access device includes a geo positioning system, the signal including a geo location of the remote access device, the lock exhibiting a low power broadcast state and a high rate broadcast and listening state, the lock including a lock controller, the lock controller causing the lock to exhibit a high rate broadcast and listening state as a function of the geo location of the remote access device. 6. The system of claim 1 , further comprising: a lock controller and a proximity detector, the proximity detector detecting the presence of a user and sending a presence signal to the lock controller when the presence of a user is detected, the lock controller causing the lock to change the status of the lock from one of locked to unlocked and unlocked to locked in response to the presence signal. 7. The system of claim 1 , wherein the remote access device includes a geo positioning system, the signal including a geo location of the remote access device, the lock controller causing the lock to change from one of locked to unlocked and unlocked to locked as a function of the geo location. 8. A system for locking and unlocking a lock at a dwelling, comprising: a lock system for locking and unlocking a door in which the lock is located, the lock system including a lock and a bolt, a processor with a memory, one or more wireless communication devices coupled to a circuit and one or more motion sensors coupled to a drive shaft, an energy source coupled to a circuit that couples the energy source to the processor, the at least one or more motion sensors sensing position of the drive shaft to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of the lock device, in response to receipt of a signal received by the one or more wireless communication devices and the one or more motion sensor enables the bolt to move and lock or unlock the lock; and a proximity detector for detecting a presence of a user of the lock and outputting a presence signal in response to a determination that a user is present. 9. A system for locking ad unlocking a lock at a dwelling, comprising: a lock system for locking and unlocking a door in which the lock is located, the lock system including a lock and a bolt, a processor with a memory, one or more wireless communication devices coupled to a circuit and one or more motion sensors coupled to a drive shaft an energy source coupled to the circuit that couples the energy source to the processor, the at least one or more motion sensors sensing position of the drive shaft to assist in locking and unlocking a lock of the lock device; at least one antenna for transmitting a signal; and an accelerometer for detecting acceleration of a door in which the lock is coupled to.
