A display mechanism displaying plural mutually different horometric items of information, including: plural information supports on each of which appears one of the horometric items of information; a magazine, in which the information supports are stored; a platform arranged to receive, in a movable manner according to the horometric items of information to be displayed, the selected information support; a first displacement mechanism moving the selected information support between an inactive storage position in the magazine and an active operating position on the platform, the first displacement mechanism being mounted between the magazine and the platform; and a controller controlling the first displacement mechanism.

The invention claimed is: 1. A display mechanism for displaying plural mutually different horometric items of information comprising: plural information supports on each of which appears one of the horometric items of information; a magazine in which are stored the information supports; a platform arranged to receive, in a movable manner according to the horometric items of information to be displayed, selected information support; first displacement means for moving the selected information support between an inactive storage position in the magazine and an active operating position on the platform, the first displacement means being mounted between the magazine and the platform; and control means for controlling the first displacement means. 2. The mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the magazine comprises plural superposed housings respectively arranged to receive an information support, and wherein the magazine is mounted to be movable in translation to bring the selected information support to a level of the first displacement means. 3. The mechanism according to claim 2 , wherein the mechanism comprises first actuation means arranged to move the magazine to bring the selected information support to the level of the first displacement means. 4. The mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the information support comprises a disc bearing the horometric item of information and comprising first positioning means for positioning the disc bearing the horometric item of information on the platform, and a ring in which the disc bearing the horometric item of information is mounted for free rotation and comprising second positioning means for positioning the information support in the magazine. 5. The mechanism according to claim 4 , wherein the ring further comprises housings arranged to receive the first displacement means of the selected information support. 6. The mechanism according to claim 4 , wherein the platform comprises as many crowns as there are horometric items of information to be displayed on the platform, each of the crowns being arranged to receive an associated information support and being movable in rotation at a speed selected according to the horometric item of information displayed on the associated information support. 7. The mechanism according to claim 6 , wherein each crown comprises third positioning means arranged to cooperate with the first positioning means for positioning the disc bearing the horometric item of information, the first and third positioning means being arranged such that the disc bearing the horometric item of information is positioned on the associated crown to correctly display the associated horometric item of information. 8. The mechanism according to claim 7 , wherein the third positioning means arranged on crowns is movable in translation between a low position for setting the selected information support in place on the platform, and a high position permitting cooperation between the selected information support and the crown associated therewith. 9. The mechanism according to claim 8 , wherein the platform comprises second displacement means arranged to move the third positioning means arranged on the crown in translation between the low position and the high position thereof. 10. The mechanism according to claim 1 , wherein the first displacement means of the selected information support comprises an arm pivotally mounted between the magazine and the platform and comprising gripping means for gripping the selected information support. 11. The mechanism according to claim 7 , further comprising coupling means arranged to pivot the selected information support positioned on the platform until the selected information support cooperates with the associated crown. 12. The mechanism according to claim 11 , further comprising second actuation means for actuating the coupling means. 13. The mechanism according to claim 12 , wherein the control means comprises a centralized control unit also arranged to control the second displacement means of the third positioning means provided on the crown and the second actuation means for actuating the coupling means. 14. The mechanism according to claim 1 , further comprising a first safety device arranged to ensure the holding of the first displacement means when the information support is in an active or inactive position. 15. The mechanism according to claim 1 , further comprising a second safety device of the start-up of the display mechanism arranged to prevent any motion of the first displacement means when the magazine is not correctly positioned. 16. The mechanism according to claim 1 , further comprising a third safety device arranged to prevent motion of the magazine when the first displacement means is not arranged in front of the magazine. 17. A timepiece comprising a display mechanism according to claim 1 .
