Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

An LED tube lamp includes a first rectifying circuit, a filter circuit, an LED lighting module, and a ballast-compatible circuit. The first rectifying circuit is coupled to a first pin and second pin and is configured to rectify an external driving signal transmitted from the first pin and/or the second pin. The filter circuit is coupled to the first rectifying circuit and is configured to filter the rectified signal by the first rectifying circuit. The LED lighting module is coupled to the filter circuit and receives the filtered signal by the filter circuit to light. The ballast-compatible circuit has two ballast-compatible circuit terminals coupled to the first rectifying circuit and is configured to control the LED tube lamp to light or stop lighting according to the external driving signal.

What is claimed is: 1. An LED tube lamp, comprising: a first rectifying circuit, coupled to a first pin and second pin and configured to rectify an external driving signal transmitted from the first pin and/or the second pin; a filter circuit, coupled to the first rectifying circuit, configured to filter the rectified signal by the first rectifying circuit; an LED lighting module, coupled to the filter circuit and receiving the filtered signal by the filter circuit to emit light; and a ballast-compatible circuit, having two ballast-compatible circuit terminals coupled to the first rectifying circuit and controlling the LED tube lamp to emit light or stop lighting according to the external driving signal, wherein the ballast-compatible circuit comprises: a switch coupled to the two ballast-compatible circuit terminals, and the ballast-compatible circuit is configured to detect the external driving signal to control the switch to be conducted to make the LED tube lamp light or control the switch to be cut off to make the LED tube lamp stop emitting light; and a control circuit, configured to receive a detection signal indicative of the rectified signal and accordingly determine to cut off the switch when the detection signal is higher than a low determination level and lower than a high determination level and conduct the switch when the detection signal is lower than a low determination level and higher than a high determination level, wherein the high determination level is higher than the low determination level. 2. The LED tube lamp according to claim 1 , wherein the high determination level is in a range from 0.9 to 1.25 volts and the low determination level is lower than 0.2 volts. 3. The LED tube lamp according to claim 1 , wherein the ballast-compatible circuit further comprises a capacitor, configured to receive the rectified signal to store energy therein to provide power to the control circuit for operation. 4. The LED tube lamp according to claim 1 , wherein the detection signal is generated by at least two resistors connected in series between a first rectifying output terminal and a second rectifying output terminal of the first rectifying circuit. 5. An LED tube lamp, comprising: a first rectifying circuit, coupled to a first pin and second pin and configured to rectify an external driving signal transmitted from the first pin and/or the second pin; a filter circuit, coupled to the first rectifying circuit, configured to filter the rectified signal by the first rectifying circuit; an LED lighting module, coupled to the filter circuit and receiving the filtered signal by the filter circuit to emit light; and a ballast-compatible circuit, having two ballast-compatible circuit terminals coupled to the first rectifying circuit and controlling the LED tube lamp to emit light or stop lighting according to the external driving signal, wherein the ballast-compatible circuit comprises: a switch coupled to the two ballast-compatible circuit terminals, and the ballast-compatible circuit is configured to detect the external driving signal to control the switch to be conducted to make the LED tube lamp light or control the switch to be cut off to make the LED tube lamp stop emitting light; and a control circuit configured to detect a frequency of the rectified signal and determine to conduct the switch when the frequency is lower than a defined frequency value. 6. The LED tube lamp according to claim 1 , wherein the ballast-compatible circuit is coupled between the first pin and the second pin. 7. The LED tube lamp according to claim 1 , wherein the ballast-compatible circuit is coupled between the filter circuit and the first rectifying circuit. 8. The LED tube lamp according to claim 1 , further comprising a second rectifying circuit coupled to a third pin and a fourth pin for rectifying the external driving signal with the first rectifying circuit, wherein the ballast-compatible circuit is coupled between the first rectifying circuit and the second rectifying circuit. 9. The LED tube lamp according to claim 5 , wherein the ballast-compatible circuit is coupled between the first pin and the second pin. 10. The LED tube lamp according to claim 5 , wherein the ballast-compatible circuit is coupled between the filter circuit and the first rectifying circuit. 11. The LED tube lamp according to claim 5 , further comprising a second rectifying circuit coupled to a third pin and a fourth pin for rectifying the external driving signal with the first rectifying circuit, wherein the ballast-compatible circuit is coupled between the first rectifying circuit and the second rectifying circuit. 12. The LED tube lamp according to claim 5 , wherein the ballast-compatible circuit further comprises a capacitor, configured to receive the rectified signal to store energy therein to provide power to the control circuit for operation.
