In a sliding member, a sliding surface of a substrate of fluorine rubber on which another member slides is covered with a coating that is formed of an epoxy resin having a scratch hardness (Pencil Method) after curing of F to 2H and in which fluorine resin powder is dispersed.

What is claimed is: 1. A sliding member formed of fluorine rubber, the sliding member comprising: a substrate with a sliding surface on which another member slides; and a coating that covers at least the sliding surface, wherein the coating contains an epoxy resin in which fluorine resin powder is dispersed and has a scratch hardness (Pencil Method) of F to 2H. 2. The sliding member according to claim 1 , wherein a filling rate at which the coating is filled with the fluorine resin powder is 5 vol % or more and 15 vol % or less of the cured coating.
