Abstract

Official abstract text for this publication.

There is provided an information processing apparatus including an emission unit for emitting a projection image onto a subject, which is to be photographed, so as to allow the subject to perform a predetermined operation, a recognizing unit for recognizing operation performed by the subject, and an execution unit for executing a predetermined processing according to the operation of the subject that is recognized by the recognizing unit.

What is claimed is: 1. An information processing apparatus comprising: circuitry configured to acquire a result of detecting an operation of a subject, the operation being made upon a projection image; execute an image capturing processing in accordance with the acquired result; and initiate a changing of display of the projection image in relation to a duration of the operation of the subject having been made upon the projection image. 2. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the projection image comprises a shading pattern. 3. The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein the shading pattern is changed to be less or more opaque based on the duration of the operation of the subject. 4. The information processing apparatus according to claim 3 , wherein the shading pattern is changed to be less or more opaque in progressive stages of opacity. 5. The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein a color of the shading pattern is changed to be less or more opaque based on the duration of the operation of the subject. 6. The information processing apparatus according to claim 5 , wherein the color of the shading pattern is changed to be less or more opaque in progressive stages. 7. The information processing apparatus according to claim 2 , wherein a color of the shading pattern is changed based on the duration of the operation of the subject. 8. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the projection image comprises a first selection option, and when the operation of the subject is detected to be made, a second selection option related to the first selection option is projected onto a position related to the first selection option and the circuitry executes a processing in accordance with the second selection option corresponding to a region where the subject is placed. 9. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the operation of the subject is recognized based on an image of the subject captured by an image capturing device. 10. The information processing apparatus according to claim 9 , wherein an object and the subject are recognized based on the image of the subject captured by the image capturing device, and the projection image is emitted onto a region of the object and the subject. 11. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the operation of the subject is performed by the subject, onto which the projection image has been projected thereon by an emission device emitting the projection image. 12. The information processing apparatus according to claim 11 , wherein the projection image is emitted by the emission device in accordance with the operation of the subject. 13. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the operation of the subject is recognized as being provided in an emission range onto which the projection image is emitted. 14. The information processing apparatus according to claim 13 , wherein the image capturing processing is executed in correspondence with the operation of the subject recognized in the emission range. 15. An information processing method being performed by an information processing apparatus having a processor, the method comprising: acquiring a result of detecting a user operation, the operation being made upon a projection image; executing an image capturing processing in accordance with the acquired result; and initiating a changing of display of the projection image in relation to a duration of the user operation having been made upon the projection image. 16. A non-transitory computer-readable storage medium having stored thereon a program, which when executed by a computer causes the computer to execute an information processing method, the method comprising: acquiring a result of detecting a user operation, the operation being made upon a projection image; executing an image capturing processing in accordance with the acquired result; and initiating a changing of display of the projection image in relation to a duration of the user operation having been made upon the projection image. 17. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the operation comprises a presenting of an operating object at a location corresponding to a projection location of the projection image. 18. The information processing apparatus according to claim 17 , wherein the operating object comprises at least a portion of a hand of the subject. 19. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the operation includes a movement of the subject that places the subject into an overlapping condition with the projection image. 20. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the projection image is first displayed, prior to the operation of the subject being made onto the projection image. 21. The information processing apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the operation is a gesture made onto the projection image.
