A timepiece includes a case; a movement that is housed in the case and has multiple motors that drive respective staffs disposed at different locations; a patch antenna that is disposed inside the case and at the back side of the dial; and a battery that supplies power to the motors and is disposed at a position in the case that does not overlap the patch antenna in plan view. The position at which the battery is disposed overlaps at least one of the motors in plan view.

What is claimed is: 1. A timepiece, comprising: a case; a dial that is made of a nonconductive material; a date wheel that is made of a nonconductive material and is disposed at a back side of the dial; and a patch antenna that is disposed inside the case and at a back side of the date wheel; wherein the date wheel and the patch antenna overlap in plan view. 2. The timepiece described in claim 1 , further comprising: a circuit board; and a battery; wherein the battery is disposed at a space where the circuit board is not disposed and the battery and the circuit board overlap in lateral view. 3. The timepiece described in claim 2 , wherein: the patch antenna is disposed at the circuit board. 4. The timepiece described in claim 1 , further comprising: a receiver that processes a signal received by the patch antenna; and a hand that is made of metal and moves to, and stops at, a reception display position during reception; wherein the hand does not overlap the patch antenna when the hand stops at the reception display position. 5. The timepiece described in claim 4 , wherein: the hand is a second hand. 6. The timepiece described in claim 5 , further comprising: an hour hand; and a minute hand; wherein the hour hand and the minute hand do not move to a reception display position during reception. 7. The timepiece described in claim 1 , wherein: the case is made of a conductive metal. 8. The timepiece described in claim 1 , wherein: the patch antenna receives a circularly polarized signal transmitted from a positioning information satellite. 9. The timepiece described in claim 1 , further comprising: a battery; wherein the battery and the patch antenna do not overlap in plan view.
