We claim: 1. A connector for connecting a wiper blade and multiple types of wiper arms, the connector comprising: a base for attachment to a wiper blade; and a receiving element directly attached to and pivotable with respect to said base and said receiving element is arranged above said base as viewed along a vertical direction, said receiving element comprising a structure to receive and be connected to any one of at least six different wiper arms wherein a first one of said at least six different wiper arms is a J-hook wiper arm and a second one of said at least six different wiper arms is selected from the group consisting of an I & L wiper arm and a PTB wiper arm, wherein said structure comprises: a support surface; and an engagement surface spaced from and facing said support surface as viewed along said vertical direction, wherein said engagement surface is substantially parallel to said support surface along an entire length of said engagement surface, wherein said support surface and said engagement surface define a slot therebetween to receive said second wiper arm and wherein said slot extends along a length of said engagement surface as viewed along a horizontal direction that is perpendicular to said vertical direction, and said support surface and said engagement surface define a side opening that is unencumbered by any portion of said receiving element when a first axis, which has no end points and is parallel to a lateral direction that is perpendicular to both said vertical direction and said horizontal direction, passes through said side opening and does not intersect said receiving element in any way, said engagement surface comprises: a first side support; a second side support that faces said first side support; and an end portion that is attached to both said first side support and said second side support, wherein said first side support, said second side support and said end portion define a cavity to receive said J-hook wiper arm; and wherein a rear opening of said slot is defined by said first support, said second support and said support surface and wherein said rear opening is perpendicularly intersected by a second axis that is perpendicular to and intersects said first axis and extends towards said rear opening without intersecting said receiving element in any way. 2. The connector of claim 1 , wherein said at least six different wiper arms comprise at least three different classes of wiper arms. 3. The connector of claim 2 , wherein said second wiper arm is said I & L wiper arm. 4. The connector of claim 1 , wherein said second wiper arm is said PTB wiper arm. 5. The connector of claim 1 , wherein one of said at least six different wiper arms is a pin wiper arm. 6. The connector of claim 1 , wherein said at least six different wiper arms comprise said I & L wiper arm, said PTB wiper arm, a first pin wiper arm, a second pin wiper arm, said J-hook wiper arm and a second J-hook wiper arm. 7. The connector of claim 1 , wherein said receiving element comprises a cap, wherein said cap pivots from an open position to a closed position, wherein at said closed position, said cap engages said J-hook wiper arm if said J-hook wiper arm is engaged with said connector. 8. The connector of claim 7 , wherein via engagement of said J-hook wiper arm with said end portion and said cap said J-hook wiper arm is locked in position. 9. The connector of claim 1 , wherein said receiving element comprises a cap that has an indent, wherein said cap pivots from an open position to a closed position, wherein at said closed position, said indent engages one of said at least six different wiper arms. 10. The connector of claim 1 , wherein said slot is dimensioned to snugly receive a surface of said second wiper arm. 11. The connector of claim 10 , wherein said end portion is part of an engagement tongue and an end of said engagement tongue opposite to said end portion is unattached to anything but said engagement tongue and has a protrusion that faces said support surface. 12. The connector of claim 11 , wherein said engagement tongue comprises a release notch that is located on a side opposite of said protrusion. 13. The connector of claim 10 , wherein said receiving element further comprises a pair of flexible wing stops that face one another and can be pressed towards one another along a direction that is perpendicular to a longitudinal axis of said slot. 14. The connector of claim 1 , said receiving element further comprising: an attachment that pivotably couples said receiving element to said base; and a recess structured to receive one of said at least six different wiper arms; and wherein said base comprises a pivot stop that is positioned adjacent to said recess, wherein when said one of said at least six different wiper arms is received by said recess, said pivot stop engages said one of said at least six different wiper arms and prevents said receiving element from pivoting relative to said base. 15. The connector of claim 14 , wherein said pivot stop is integral with said base. 16. The connector of claim 14 , wherein said one of said at least six different wiper arms is a pin wiper arm. 17. The connector of claim 14 , wherein said support further comprises a pair of flexible wing stops that face one another and can be pressed towards one another. 18. The connector of claim 1 , wherein said support further comprises a pair of flexible wing stops that face one another and can be pressed towards one another. 19. The connector of claim 1 , wherein said J-hook wiper arm can be received in said cavity without contact with either said first side support or said second side support, wherein said end portion is dimensioned to snugly engage a curved portion of said J-hook wiper arm. 20. The connector of claim 1 , wherein said second wiper arm is said I & L wiper arm. 21. The connector of claim 1 , wherein said second wiper arm is said PTB wiper arm. 22. A windshield wiper comprising: a wiper blade; an attachable wiper arm selected from the group consisting of an I & L wiper arm and a PTB wiper arm, wherein said attachable wiper arm comprises a top surface and a pair of side flanges that face each other and are connected to and arranged on either side of the top surface; and a connector connected to said attachable wiper arm, said connector comprising: a base attached to said wiper blade; and a receiving element attached to said base and said attachable wiper arm, said receiving element arranged above said base as viewed along a vertical direction and comprising a structure to receive and be connected to any one of: a J-hook wiper arm and at least four different wiper arms besides said-J-hook wiper arm and said attachable wiper arm when said connector is no longer connected to said attachable wiper arm, wherein said structure comprises: a support surface; and an engagement surface spaced from and facing said support surface as viewed along said vertical direction, wherein said support surface and said engagement surface define a slot therebetween to receive said attachable wiper arm and wherein said slot extends along a length of said engagement surface as viewed along a horizontal direction that is perpendicular to said vertical direction and said support surface and said engagement surface defines a side opening that is unencumbered by any portion of said receiving element when an axis, which has no end points and is parallel to a lateral direction that is perp
