A recording apparatus includes a housing body, an opening/closing member, attached to the housing body via a pivot shaft so as to be capable of rotating freely, that covers the surface of the housing body on one side thereof, and an ink tank having an injection port for filling an ink holding chamber with ink used in recording. Here, the ink tank is disposed so that one end thereof is positioned within the housing body on the opposite side of the housing body as the side in which the pivot shaft is provided, and has a stepped shape including a step portion, the step portion being provided on a side of the ink tank that is further from the pivot shaft. The injection port is provided in the step portion, and when the opening/closing member is opened and the ink is to be filled.

What is claimed is: 1. A recording apparatus comprising: a carriage, including a recording head that ejects ink, capable of moving in a predetermined direction; a housing body including the recording head; an opening/closing member attached to the housing body via a pivot shaft; a discharge port that discharges a recording media that has been recorded onto by recording head, an ink tank that is disposed in the housing body, and includes a plurality of the injection ports for refilling ink within the ink tank, and a cover that can be opened/closed relative to the housing body, the cover covering a front surface of the ink tank, wherein the ink tank is disposed near the discharge port, and the injection ports are arranged parallel to the carriage moving direction, wherein a viewing window forms on the cover, the viewing window forming on a front surface and side surface of the cover. 2. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , the ink tank is disposed between the discharge port and the side surface of the housing body. 3. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein a cover that can be opened to tilt forward relative to the housing body wherein a pivot shaft is provided at least one of the housing body or the cover. 4. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the injection port is exposed by opening the cover. 5. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein a ink remaining marker that indicate the amount of ink remaining in the tank, wherein the ink remaining marker provide the front face of the ink tank, wherein the ink remaining marker provide at least one of the a lower limit indication and an upper limit indication. 6. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein a color recognition label that indicates the color of the ink; and provide the front face of the ink tank. 7. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein a transparent member formed at the cover; and can be confirm the amount of ink remaining. 8. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the ink tank is fixed to the housing body. 9. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein a plurality of types of the ink are held an integrated ink tank. 10. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the cover can open from top to bottom by pivot shaft which provides at the lower portion of the housing body. 11. The recording apparatus according to claim 1 , wherein the cover can open by pivot shaft which provides at the side of the housing body. 12. A recording apparatus comprising: a carriage, including a recording head that ejects ink, capable of moving in a predetermined direction; a housing body including the recording head; an opening/closing member attached to the housing body via a pivot shaft; a panel unit including an operation button for performing various types of operations, the panel unit being disposed in the front portion of the housing body, an ink tank that is disposed in the housing body, and includes a plurality of the injection ports for refilling the ink within the ink tank, and a cover that can be opened/closed relative to the housing body and covering a front surface of the ink tank, wherein the ink tank is near the panel unit, and the injection ports are arranged parallel to the carriage moving direction, wherein a viewing window forms on the cover, the viewing window forming on a front surface and side surface of the cover. 13. The recording apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein a cover that can be opened to tilt forward relative to the housing body wherein a pivot shaft is provided at least one of the housing body or the cover. 14. The recording apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the injection port is exposed by opening the cover. 15. The recording apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein a ink remaining marker that indicate the amount of ink remaining in the tank, wherein the ink remaining marker provide the front face of the ink tank, wherein the ink remaining marker provide at least one of the a lower limit indication and an upper limit indication. 16. The recording apparatus according to claim 12 , Wherein a color recognition label that indicates the color of the ink; and provide the front face of the ink tank. 17. The recording apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein a transparent member formed at the cover; and can be confirm the amount of ink remaining. 18. The recording apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the ink tank is fixed to the housing body. 19. The recording apparatus according to claim 12 , wherein the cover can open by pivot shaft which provides at the side of the housing body. 22. A recording apparatus comprising: a carriage, including a recording head that ejects ink, capable of moving in a predetermined direction; a housing body including the recording head; a discharge port that discharges a recording media that has been recorded onto by recording head, an opening/closing member attached to the housing body via a pivot shaft; an ink tank that is disposed in the housing body, and includes a plurality of injection ports for refilling ink within the ink tank, and a cover that can be opened/closed relative to the housing body, the cover covering a front surface of the ink tank and a part of the side surface of the ink tank, the injection ports are arranged parallel to the carriage moving direction, wherein a viewing window forms on the cover, the viewing window forming on a front surface and side surface of the cover. 23. The recording apparatus according to claim 22 , wherein the ink tank is fixed to the housing body. 24. The recording apparatus according to claim 22 , wherein a plurality of types of the ink are held an integrated ink tank. 25. The recording apparatus according to claim 22 , wherein the cover can open from top to bottom by pivot shaft which provides at the lower portion of the housing body. 26. The recording apparatus according to claim 22 , wherein the cover can open by pivot shaft which provides at the side of the housing body. 27. A recording apparatus comprising: a carriage, including a recording head that ejects ink, capable of moving in a predetermined direction; a housing body including the recording head; an ink tank that is disposed in the housing body and includes an injection port for filling the ink; a discharge port that discharges a recording medium that has been recorded onto by the recording head, and wherein a first viewing window is formed in a front surface of the housing body, wherein an ink remaining marker indicates an amount of ink remaining in the tank, the ink remaining marker being provided on the ink tank, wherein the ink remaining marker is visible through the viewing window. 28. The recording apparatus according to claim 27 , a cover that can be opened/closed relative to the housing body and covering the front surface of the ink tank and forming a portion of a front surface of the recording appar
