What is claimed: 1. A computerized method for enhanced lottery play in a multiple User environment comprising the steps of: providing a central system for storing user identification data, user game information including a user's accumulated point value and for control of interaction with the system, receiving at the central system an indication from multiple users of interest to participate in a game, including receipt of user identification information, generating at the central system and transmitting a display of user selectable icons arranged in a grid, receiving at the central system an indication of one or more selections from one or more of the multi users of user selectable icons, selecting at the central system one of the selectable icons, and awarding, prizing by updating the user's accumulated point value of the game information for the users by: (i) providing a first positive point value to a user if the user selected icon exactly equals the icon selected by the central system, and (ii) providing a second, positive point value, where the second positive point value is numerically less than the first positive, point value to the user if the user selected icon does not exactly equal the icon selected by the central system, but is geometrically adjacent the system selected icon. 2. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 wherein the central system is a lottery system. 3. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 wherein the icons are numbers. 4. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 3 wherein the numbers are 1 through 49. 5. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 3 wherein the numbers are 1 through 36. 6. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 wherein the icons are arranged in an n×n matrix. 7. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 wherein six numbers are selected in the lottery. 8. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 wherein the game information is modified by reducing the users accumulated point value if the user selected icon is not the system selected icon or geometrically adjacent the system selected icon. 9. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 wherein the prizing is defined OD a geographic basis. 10. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 9 wherein the geographic basis for the prizing is based on a country. 11. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 9 wherein the geographic basis for the prizing is based on a state. 12. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 9 wherein the geographic basis for the prizing is based on a city. 13. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 9 wherein the geographic basis for the prizing is based on a user's geographic location. 14. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 further including the step of utilizing mandated parameters in the lottery. 15. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 14 wherein the mandated parameters are stored in memory. 16. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 14 wherein the mandated parameters are achieved by utilizing variable parameters. 17. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 16 wherein the variable parameters in part define a particular game play experience. 18. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 further including the step of limiting the number of players allowed in each game. 19. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 further including the step of providing a series of games over time. 20. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 further enabling communication between the users. 21. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 further including displaying a leader board. 22. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 wherein the game is displayed in a casino. 23. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 22 wherein the game is displayed on a casino terminal. 24. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 wherein the game is displayed on a lottery terminal. 25. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 24 wherein the lottery terminal is a video lottery terminal. 26. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 1 wherein the game is played over a network. 27. A system for enhanced electronic interaction in to multiple user lottery environment comprising: a display generator for generating a presentation of a grid of objects, an input receiving a player selection of one or more an objects from the grid of objects, a lottery random generator for randomly selecting a first winning identifying object from the grid of objects, and a prizing system for awarding and updating prizes to the player according to the rules comprising: a first positive prize value if the player selected the identifying object that exactly matches the first winning identifying object, and a second positive prize value, the second positive prize value being less than the first positive prize value, if the player selected identifying object is directly adjacent the first identifying winning object. 28. A system for electronic interaction of claim 27 wherein the grid of identifying objects are arranged in multiple rows and columns. 29. A system for electronic interaction of claim 27 wherein the identifying objects are numbers. 30. A system for electronic interaction of claim 27 wherein the identifying objects are letters. 31. The system for electronic interaction of claim 27 wherein the prizes are defined on a geographic, basis. 32. The system for electronic, interaction of claim 31 wherein the geographic basis for the prizes are based on a country. 33. The system for electronic interaction of claim 31 wherein the geographic basis for the prizes are based on a state. 34. The system for electronic interaction of claim 31 wherein the geographic basis for the prizes are based on a city. 35. The system for electronic interaction of claim 31 wherein the geographic basis for the prizes are based on a user's geographic location. 36. The system for electronic interaction of claim 27 further including memory to store mandated parameters. 37. The system for electronic interaction of claim 36 wherein the mandated parameters are achieved by utilizing variable parameters. 38. The system for electronic interaction of claim 37 wherein the variable parameters in part define a particular game play experience. 39. The system for electronic interaction of claim 27 further facilitating communication between the users. 40. The system for electronic interaction of claim 27 wherein the presentation of the grid is on a casino terminal. 41. The system for electronic interaction of claim 27 wherein the presentation of the grid is on a lottery terminal. 42. The system for electronic interaction of claim 41 wherein the lottery terminal is a video lottery terminal. 43. The method for enhanced lottery play of claim 8 wherein the amount that the users accumulated point value is decreased is a function of the proximity of the player selected number from the system selected number. 44.
